LSU and Missouri should just go ahead and make-out. They are meant for each other

Southern Missouri isn't far from Memphis. Geography and travel is taken into account in deciding these things. I agree the location and opponent aren't desirable for you, but show up in droves, eat some BBQ and hope the bowl people take it into account for seasons to come.

Ok, tell me what bowl you deserve and who you’d like to play? State is ranked above Missouri and so is A&M, so the Outback and Gator are out. Where should Missouri be? Belk, Texas, or MCB are the other choices.

Liberty is fine with me I guess. It's more the opponent, who we were matched up against not too long ago.

This year, the SEC makes us the first ranked team to be sent to the Liberty Bowl. And it’s a rematch of a team we played 5 years ago. frick you SEC. Yeah I’m melting.

Don't the Bowl committee make the decisions? Does the conference have a say in it?

Music City Bowl versus anybody that we haven’t already played 100 times. It’s not really that hard.

You should be glad that you even have a seat at the table. If it were up to me you would have been back out of the conference the day after getting in.

I’m sure the SEC is concerned with the opinion of some moronic LSU fan.

It would be difficult to send Mizzou to Nashville once it was decided that Purdue was coming from the B1G. The SEC office probably had to send Mizzou to Liberty to avoid a rematch.

I can see you wanting to go to the MCB. State has been screwed a few times over the years(ironically 3 times by the Outback but that is now forgiven) also. The MCB going with Purdue probably ended that chance. I guess they could have take Michigan State or Wisconsin. Bowl politics suck man.

The fact that Missouri is even ranked is an indictment on college football this year.

The fact that your team isn’t as good is a real indictment on South Carolina.

Liberty is one of the three bowls Mizzou put in for. It's not the SEC's fault. Plus, It's a good bowl that we have history with, and it's only five hours from Columbia. All positives. The only issue is the who we're playing, yet another freaking Bevo 10 team, but that is who teh Liberty Bowl is tied to.

From what I'm hearing already, there will be a lot of Mizzou fans there, including myself and two - five others.

Enh, they did you a favor.

Mizzou should easily outnumber Okie State since Memphis is in your backyard. Okie State is just good enough to look impressive but just bad enough to beat. Finally Memphis isn't a bad place to drop by to visit. Horrible to live there, but not bad to visit.
