I can honestly see yall beating Alabama then losing a couple much easier games. A&M should've won that game by 10 pts at least

What? We shut them the frick down after the first quarter. We have outrushed everyone but UF. In the SEC , the team that leads the rushing stat wins 85% of the time. Get a clue

LSU will lose to Alabama, MSU, and possibly Ole Miss. Their offense is simply terrible. And yes, they beat A&M. Congrats, a lot of other teams will do so as well.

HOLY shite!!! We haven't lost a home game since 09 and you think we will lose 3 in a row? Grow up boy

Keep in mind this is a fan that blame the dumpster fire of dumpster fires (sorry Aubby,Arky was preseason top 10) on a coach......that isn't even coaching the team.

I can't believe I read this whole thread when I knew it was just going to be a bunch of LSU fans answering the question and other fans trolling the frick out of them.

These teams are pretenders.

LSU seems to be having a problem accepting their place in the college landscape.

Isn't that how most threads on here go?

This
We will know after that game. Unfortunately, I have a feeling the answer is ultimately no. I still respect the hell out of Miles and the team if they can pull off a 10-2 regular season with all the starters that are missing. I don't care what anybody says, it speaks volumes about our depth to win 10 regular season games with 10 out of 22 starters out at this point

Looks like the Piggies are a little jealous we resurrected our rivalry with A&M now.

I agree. A 10-2 season would be a great accomplishment considering what's gone on this year. It'll be a little disappointing but most teams wouldn't be able to maintain success with as many starters out WHILE playing a tough SEC schedule.

A lot of teams that aren't real contenders.

The only reason LSU has a shot is because they have Alabama at home - and then even if they won they'd have to not choke against Arkansas - which despite what most of you think, is a definite possibility given the crappiness of LSU's play on the road.

Personally, I think Alabama is too balanced for them so the whole point is moot. We'll know in 2 weeks.

Borderline contender. Definitely not pretender, you can always win with the kind of defense we have. It's close though. Special teams have been average compared to last year, and the offense has serious issues.

Lots of fricking trolls in this thread. This is the correct answer though.
