Now do from 1960.

Btw, why does Arkansas begin with 4 wins in 1979? We won 10 games and finished 8th in the AP that year. Even played Bear Bryant's last national championship team in the Sugar that year. Also had more than that in '78 and '80, so I don't get it?

Edit: nevermind. I think it was still moving and didn't just start with 1980 records.

So the only SEC school to win 300+ games since 1980 and fail to win a National Title is...

Hanging in by a thread? Florida and Georgia averaged less than 10 wins a season during that time, so we basically have a lead of two full years over them. Even since 2000. Two full years.

Prior to 2008, Alabama was barely in the top 4 on that list.

Then starting in 2008, Alabama started to rocket forward.

That's what I meant.

350 if you take into account off-field results. 21 wins vacated, 8 wins forfeited. 379 wins on the field.

False.

Stassen: LSU has 326

LSU had 124 wins from 1980-1999. Not "176".
LSU won 55.5% of their games in that stretch. To finish with an average of 8.8 wins that stretch, they would have been on the same level as Florida during that era (who won 178 games but played in 13 more games due to making the post season way more often than LSU during that stretch).

Florida won a national championship, 5 conference titles, and 6 division titles during that era.

LSU won 2 conference titles, no national championships and no division titles.

Pokey, if you're going to lie, at least pick one that isn't debunked with a commonly accessed website and 30 seconds of looking.

National Titles:
1. Alabama - 6
t2. LSU - 3
t2. Florida - 3
t4. Auburn - 1
t4. Tennessee - 1
t6. Everyone Else - 0

SEC Titles:
1. Alabama - 10
t2. LSU - 7
t2. Florida - 7
t2. Auburn - 7
t5. Georgia - 5
t5. Tennessee - 5
t7. Everyone else - 0

What does it say about the conference that in 40 years, only 6 teams have won the conference title...and each of those teams has at least 5 titles?

PIG needs to go back and hangout with the TEXAS schools that were in the SWC. PIG was a national brand back then. They also were usually in major bowl game and had a huge fan following.

It very dependant on year. We went 10-0-1, 12-1, & 11-2 and didn't win a title, but then someone went 12-2 with losses to UK & Arky, and yet they were awarded one.

Uhhhhh...yeah.

#1 - not including Mizzou because, well, they didn't win anything.

#2 - not including conference titles from another conference. Those teams haven't won the SEC title.
