Not saying it would be that expansive, but it would look nothing like the first picture posted, which is my main point.

No, this is what people that don't have a clue like you about supply and demand wanted.

Tennessee will begin phase 3 of a 5 phase, $200M renovation of Neyland after the season. Phases 3 and 4 will be total overhauls of the concourses and the South and East exteriors. Phase 5 will add luxury seating around the lower bowl.

Phases 1 and 2 were the North and West exteriors and the West concourse renovation, along with loge seating and a new jumbotron.

I believe Neyland is supposed to be done around 2020.

I can't wait to see it finished.

The giant erector set was ridiculous and dated

We couldn't build shite for $150M.

The project will well exceed $300M.

For 150M Texas A&M could built a nice stadium.

60,000 seat bowl stadium. All chair back seats. 120 luxury suites that encircle the entire stadium above the bowl. It would bring in more money than your current 80,000 stadium.

Would be bad arse.

Why would we cut capacity by 30% when our season tickets have been sold out for the SEC for two months now?

The expansion will almost certainly include luxury boxes (something desperately needed), but there's no reason that would call for decreased capacity.

BTW, official capacity is around 87-88K right now but we can cram 90k in there if we need to.

Weather we can or can't is irrelevant. We're going to spend a good bit more than that.

Populous is proposing 3 options in June. Cheapest is going to be ~300 mil with the most expensive being roughly 600 mil (new stadium).

I'm thinking option 2 will be likely. Rebuild Kyle in it's current spot with capacity between 103-108

One of our master plan pictures. First picture below is what it looks like now.

I know that Williams-Brice is off-campus, but does USC own the stadium?

Yes, we do own the stadium. We're really trying to improve the surroundings to give it more of a "campus feel" according to our AD

Right now, the entire footprint around the Brice is asphalt. High dollar donors (who apparently can afford to repaint their cars every post-season) literally park right up against the stadium. All those people are being moved across the street to the Farmers' Market. USC bought the old state Farmer's Market and is landscaping it for tailgating on grass with trees. The old asphalt around the stadium is being ripped up and replaced with brick walkways and nice landscaping. Those of you underwhelmed by the asphalt should like the changes.

that's the hottest place on earth, esp for visiting fans and the players. it's about the only stadium i've ever been to where i drank gator aid instead of alcohol and still damn near died of heat stroke.

It would be awesome if Florida could mirror their sideline suites to the other side. But it almost looks impossible with those other buildings/pool.

Yep Florida is pretty much "land locked" with that they've got. You know they would love to expand beyond 88,000 or whatever it is now but looking at that picture, the cost would most likely far exceed the benefit of expansion.

Glad to see Auburn wants to be even more like UGA

(Note: above is not what Sanford looks like anymore)

Future expansion on the pic below would wrap the third deck (side at the bottom of the pic) to the luxury suites. East Campus Road (not the bridge side) would be tunneled under the new expansion

That South Carolina video board looks great. I like how it will look from outside the stadium too.

I hope LSU goes through with the giant TIGER STADIUM lettering on the west side of the stadium. I don't see a clear picture of it on the expansion website anymore. The plaza they are finishing up this summer on the west side is going to look nice.

Looks like a true Big-12 stadium, IMO.
