re: Does Texas A&M 2012 Remind Anyone of Ole Miss 2008?

I don't know. Did Ole Miss have a top 5 recruiting class for 2009? And likely another for 2010?

Well, no. But that goes for any program. My point is a program with our resources and support in the SEC SHOULD be recruiting at an elite level.

If you look at our 2013 and 2014 recruiting this far, that really shouldn't be a problem. People who think we will simply go back to who we were after Manziel leaves will be in for a rude awakening. Sure, we will probably never have a QB at his level again, but we are now and will continue to recruit at an elite level.

It also quieted a bunch of Big 12 fans saying that A&M would've finished .500 in the big 12.
No kidding. That's why this game was so big. All the big 12 fans were chomping at the bit for OU to win this so they could claim the SEC was overrated (as if one game would have proven that). Hell, every Texas fan I know was vehemently cheering for OU and they are supposed to hate each other.

Hopefully one of many, many more to come. Feels great to be home.

For being at Baylor, pretty damn good.

Fair enough.
But to be fair, I think he's just smart enough to know he doesn't need it in the Big 12.

I honestly think he would have been a better hire at Auburn than Malzahn.

Get good recruits on that side of the ball and/or a good D-coordinator. Shouldn't be too hard to do in the SEC.
Good coaches delegate aspects they are good at to other good coaches.
