You have to get this now, since you can see through their waffles these days.

Waffle House is a late Saturday night/early Sunday morning meal. Everyone knows that. Trust me I get my fair share of All-star breakfasts.

Why limit yourself to Saturday night trips to the Waffle House?

I’ve made a meat lovers omelette on gamedays for a few years now. I’ll do that and watch college gameday

Maybe Slackivelli can get us up to speed on NWA breakfast spots

The only good breakfast spots in Arkansas are in NWA

All the Central Arkansas spots and south Arkansas and NEA spots aren't worth a crap.

NWA - best breakfast

The best breakfast spot on earth during football season is my tailgate in Starkvegas. Electric griddle. Eggs, bacon, whatever. Some Shipley's donuts for the kids. Breakfast in God's Country.

Wake up, get a bowl of cereal, few cups of coffee, and watch soccer for a few hours, switch over to football sometime around 2PM.

If I'm going to a home game - up at 7:30ish. Coffee, maybe a waffle - hit the road.

Eat a big lunch in Athens around 11:00. Pig out, because I won't eat again till late that evening.

If you wait until 2, you're gonna miss Missouri, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt....they're usually wrapping their games up by then.

The older I get, the less nervous energy I have on Saturday mornings in the fall. Having kids involved in various activities has killed that as we usually have games or practice or something most Saturday mornings in the fall. When we don't, the son and I usually hit up Waffle House around 7 while the wife and daughter sleep in. Stop and get doughnuts for the daughter, and a bagel for the wife. Then we hit some household chores until the first kickoff.

Don't become an adult. I miss that nervous energy and anticipation.

Get up around 8. Turn on college Gameday on every TV in the house. Have a big cup of coffee and maybe a breakfast bar. Wait on my lady to get ready. Hit the road.

Brunch at Chimes at 11 a.m. Boudin omelette with gameday mimosas or bloody Mary’s (which is in a Togo cup Btw because LA is the shite in that regard).

Then the party begins!

Yeah, I'm calling bullshite. Everyone knows if you go to the game that you eat a big breakfast so that you have plenty of time to allow nature to run its course, and then you eat a light lunch, so there are no unexpected issues around game time. Nobody wants to be sweating in a porto-potty an hour before the game. Most have learned that lesson the hard way.

We pig out on leftovers at the tailgate after the game.

No home game I'm up by 5:30 like always on the weekend. I'll cook some biscuits or waffles and sausage/bacon. Watch the first 15 minutes of game day then do whatever yard work or running around I need to do. Home game is generally grab some donuts and hit the road.

I wake up at 6, make breakfast and watch the EPL. Depending on who's in town I may go watch that at a bar too.
Then move over to College Gameday.

Then go to the Gamecock bar here. (depending on what time the game is)

My gf barely sees me on saturday's in the fall... and she lives with me.

I usually swing by Chick-Fil-A on my way to set up the tailgate for home games.
