The Gator OL is not physical enough to establish a consistent running game against the Bama DL. Against the Vols, the Gators got to the outside with Demps & Rainey. I don't see UF's line being able to set the edge on the Tide DEs and Bama's speed at LB should shut that down.
And if Nick can take one part of your offense away and make you one-dimensional, it can get ugly quickly.

Florida is overrated. They are living off of past team's reputations.

I guess the thread is just as "crazy" as rivals just putting Bama on upset alert this week. Obviously Bama should win, but at the swamp with those athletes, anything can happen. If Bama turns it over a couple of times, UF can certainly win this game.

I like Bama in a fairly close low scoring contest.

I don't like the "revenge factor"... both UF, and Muschamp really want revenge for '09, and I don't blame them. I think UF's defense along w/ the hostile environment make this game extremely close. Not sure who will pull it out... but I think it comes down to a FG.

We beat UT with the passing game, not the run game.

I do agree, however. In order for UF to beat Bama, we will have to run the ball. IMO the X factor for this game will be the coaches. They know each other very well and should be able to counter each others moves. Win or lose, it will be fun to watch!

Is Brantley still the QB?

I'm not worried.

Can't sneak anything by you Gumps can we?

Don't you think that's why we haven't needed to do much yet?

Most of the Gumps are OK but I swear some of you just plain suck. Not pointing at you directly in this instance.

By all means though, feel free to Go Full Gump!

It's a Rantard. They make their picks based on what outcome would benefit LSU the most, not on confidence in their rational analysis.

How would Florida beating Bama benefit LSU? A monumental #1 vs #2 game between LSU and Bama would benefit LSU more than Florida moving up a few spots after beating Bama.

As far as the game is concerned, Florida has played no one. They are fool's gold. In two weeks Florida will be 4-2.

Not a friggin' chance.

We have a deal worked out with Alabama already so as not to screw up the Epic Showdown coming on 5 November.

So stay on track and tenderize em for us next week, Bammers.

We might very well be 4-2 in two weeks, but we are playing 2 top 3 teams in a row. Good grief, you are really going on a limb there.

TN is comparable to Arky. And I would say KY is not that far away from Penn St. So I see Bama and Florida have played similar competition.
