I already used that one the other day. I said App State>UNC>Scar>UGA. So App State would win the Least

It just gets old seeing Scar fans talk about Clemson's weak schedule when yall are one of the teams on the schedule that makes it weak. And yall get beat by the ACC teams that yall say are cupcakes

Here is my take if anyone gives a poop.
I am going to assume that Florida is without their D-ends, and South Carolina's QB plays in the game.
Of course South Carolina's best chance is by passing the ball, they won't have the success like LSU did but it could get them to the 14-17 point range. I'm thinking this would be the mirror image of last week against Georgia, any more points will have to come from the defense or special teams.
Good thing for South Carolina is they have a good defense, they held on most of the game last week and will be called on again to try and limit a Florida offense that has been getting better since Trask took over. Thing is it's hard to think that Florida will be held to less than 28 points in this game. Trask and the passing offense had a field day in their last game and I would assume Mullen will attempt to keep that going. Florida brings some very capable wideouts with tight ends that make huge targets for Trask. Jefferson's last game showed he could get open or catch contested balls against some elite talent last week.
For South Carolina to win they will have to get to get all the help their defense can muster, just like last week with turnovers and a hopeful score. They will also need their punter to change field position when needed and make Florida drive the length of the field, no short stuff. Although Florida had no issue driving the field last week, South Carolina's defense has been playing pretty good and the longer the drive the more opportunity for mistakes to happen.
In a nutshell game is close till mid 4th qtr, Florida scores late to seal a 35-24 game.
No hate please
I'm just doing this for fun, I respect both programs.

When did this become a UF/USC thread?

Good take on the game, IMO the Gators will open it up a little earlier and win in the 31-14 range. Game may be close for a half.

Clemson wins more SEC games than Scar, there's really no reason for a Scar fan to be on here talking about football

If Scar wasn't such an irrelevant and garbage team it would be a good win and not be referenced as a huge upset lol notice how ppl made fun of UGA for losing to Scar, its so embarrassing to lose to a team like Scar

You are probably the only person to refer to USC as "great" in a long time.
Yeah; I just thought being in the SEC automatically made a team great. But USC isn't in the SEC; that's just something else they lost.
And I agree the SEC should win a HTH battle with the ACC. Of course, UGA should have beaten UofSC as well, so there's that.

I could see this also, LSU has better players [on paper] than South Carolina and Florida had success throwing the football. I just think South Carolina's defense has been playing a little better than LSU's, and being at home with last weeks win these guys will be flying around.
It's a game I will watch for sure. Best of luck to both sides.

Has SC actually flipped a switch the last couple of games and become a much better team? I guess we will see. If that is the case, then all the stat comparisons are meaningless.

i think it is absolutely possible that scar holds florida in the low 20s or teens and wins 24-20 type game. south carolina’s defense is legit

Auburn's defense is head and shoulders better than South Carolina's and couldn't do so even after recovering 4 fumbles. (Auburn is ranked 37th, South Carolina is ranked 78th in Total Defense).
People don't seem to be judging Florida's offense post-Franks. The team is completely different with Trask at QB.
LSU's defense is also ranked ahead of South Carolina's and they couldn't do it.
Miami's defense is ranked ahead of South Carolina's defense and they couldn't do it even though we had Franks.
Tennessee's defense is even ranked better than South Carolina's and we had the backups in for almost the entire fourth quarter.
Kentucky's defense is ranked ahead of South Carolina, too, and we had 19 points in the fourth quarter when Trask started to play.
In fact, South Carolina's defense is the worst ranked defense we will play regarding P5 teams.
It's probably better to just assume that Georgia shite the bed (as they do periodically) and that South Carolina had a lot of fortunate bounces along with Kirby's retarded decision making that made South Carolina look a lot better than they actually were.

hmmmm, i guess i think scars defensive stats don’t reflect how they are currently playing and how they will play going forward. florida couldn’t get out of the 20s against miami, kentucky, auburn, or lsu. if that happens again, very possible scar finds away to win at home. florida needs to show more in the running game to win

Agreed. Saying that, sc has a very slim shot. Hilinski is hobbled. Couple that with a sure defensive letdown and uf likely wins 30-13...
Wish we had vandy this week and uf next week..
