I think I’d take UF’s core over UGA’s right now

Yep, of course that was my intention ..... fat thumbs. UF, accidentally hit the G which is right beside the F on my tablet and pretty much in the middle of the keyboard, obviously.

I can't envision Florida having any trouble with South Carolina. South Carolina really gets up for the game with Georgia, even more so than their game with Clemson, imo. Georgia played terribly and South Carolina won. They won't put up much fight against Florida, even at home.

I would take Florida and lay the points, if I were a betting man.

Yeah because we smoked them at home last year. Wasn't even close!
People are prisoners of the moment. Fl is good, but we are not elite yet IMO.
FL is beat up just like USC. Hopefully they get up for this game, because USC is capable.

You sure typed a lot of words that could've easily been synthesized down to "we've played 2fcs teams and Tennessee. Check out these pro stats"

We played Auburn and LSU.

I'm glad you guys beat a Georgia team that plays directly into your strengths, but that's not Florida.

USCe has not yet scored over 24 on a P5 opponent.

UF has not scored under that. They also have not allowed that outside of LSU and USCE is not remotely similar to LSU

It will be close for awhile but UF will throw on USCe enough to pull away. We are better on third down, red zone, ppg, and I believe YPP(mag just be offense after LSU) on both sides of the ball. Very little reason to believe USCe wins this outside of UF overlooking.

Well .... there could be a meteor strike. Or a tornado, act of God, stuff like that. Mullen could get a message from the Scientologists telling him not to play the game. Sink hole in the middle of the Cockpit. Jumbo jet crashes into the video scoreboard. Ferris wheel goes off its axle over at the fair and rolls over to the stadium, jumps the wall and runs over half the gator team.

I mean all of those are just as likely to happen as the frickin Gators overlooking their former hated coach and his team which just knocked off UGA in Athens.

lulz

Sheeeeesh.

It's just one of those nights around here I guess.

...and it's only Tuesday.

I can completely understand Florida fans' optimism about the rest of their season. they did just score almost as much as Vanderbilt did this season against LSU.

The uga game had an emotional and physical effect to varying degrees.

Scar was still physical in ot so perhaps they turn the corner but it should be a fairly close to double digit win for uf.

I'm very curious to see how both teams come out after their games last week and with an early kick.

It absolutely makes a difference.UGA played a night game followed by a nooner vs SC who had an off week.

I imagine SC will try to man up vs your receivers and I highly doubt it will be as effective.

I freakin hate noon games and the SEC needs to stop giving so much consideration to CBS and the 3:30 games when the current TV deal is done.It honestly not that great of a deal for the SEC
anyway.

Carolina has a decent defense thats getting better. If they stay in the game they will be trouble for Florida.

We beat the number 3 team in the nation at their house with our 3rd string QB in half the game. We can beat anyone. DOesnt mean we will but we have the talent to beat anyone.

UF has had two top 10 match ups in a row with their biggest rivalry next week. Sandwiched in between is SC. Hard to get up for that many games in a row. They are predicted to win, but this is the classic setup for trap game.

On the flip side SC just had their 2nd or 3rd biggest victory in program history. They could also be in line for a letdown game. Last week helped, but I also think that Muschamp is still coaching for his job somewhat.

I think both team come out flat, and it's a low scoring affair.

Gotta give y'all credit for believing, that's for sure.

Reality says that was the classic let-down game from UGA. It happens. It's just like Clemson losing to Pitt or Syracuse; those teams had no business winning (talent-wise), but one team played their game of the year and the other looked lost.

UofSC is not on the same planet as Georgia player-for-player, but I'm glad UofSC won; it helps Clemson.

I guess.

Every UofSC fan should have Kirby on their Christmas card list. I'm sure Boom does.
Both of their playbooks might as well have been in Braille; they were lost.

They have more fans on this board than several SEC teams.

I’d pick South Carolina in this game without hesitation if Franks was our QB still.

I hate to see anyone get injured, but Trask starting might’ve been the best thing to happen to UF and possibly turned the season around.

UofSC could say the same thing about Bentley and Hilinski.
