Now that Stoops is their daddy, I think they should ask him who would do a good job

Not actually a bad thing, except that Florida fans think they can hire a top coach and they really can't.

But otherwise they are coaches that fit the template you want to take a chance on. Took over programs and improved them. Although it's hard to say with Tulane as they were already good, but he did improve Troy.

Urban Meyer was a similar type hire, although he did get ranked much higher at Utah. Still he only had 4 years of experience when hired by Florida.

You don't really hire GOAT coaches, they become those coaches while at your school.

I don't think this is an end of the world type hire. The man has a good resume.

I think it's a pretty good hire for Florida if they hire him. Better than some other names I've heard.

Some people are saying if Kiffin or Riley wont come here that Sumrall and Caldwell are Stricklin options. Who is Caldwell?

Wouldn't that be Billy Napier 2.0? No way they could pull that off and not start a riot.

Pretty much lines up with Florida being out of the LK sweepstakes

UF with Sumrall will win a natty within 2 years. They will win 10 games year 1. Sumrall is ONE BAD MOFO.

Yeah Sumrall appears to be a good coach. Appears to be.

But I’m not sure you can make that hire following Napier. Their fans would riot, and probably rightfully so.

Alabama hire Nick Saban. He had already won a national championship.

tCaw has already spoken of, and predicted this smokescreen. He’s riding with Kingsbury.

He probably thinks he is playing hardball with Kiffin. If anyone thought this would end up any way other than bad for UF, then you have not been paying attention to our athletic director.

Strakville Scott is a POS AD. Should've been fired years ago.
We've become Miss St under him.

I'm telling you, Sumrall aint the same. Troy was a burning pile of $hite when he got here. QB all fat and lazy. The dude created a monster.
