Shitty coach or not, it’s clear Florida has its own problems and it doesn’t all fall on Champ. I’ll ask again in this thread, how many coaches is Florida going to go through before y’all admit it’s a Florida problem?

I wouldn’t say that’s clear, the problems we’ve faced are almost entirely coach driven. Muschamps stubbornness to run a completely different offense from Meyer started us down this path of offensive ineptitude. I don’t blame him for Macs failures, but Muschamp certainly shares a lot of the responsibility for the state of UF football.

Absolutely not. Muschamp fixed somethings that lead to 10 win seasons. Just look how he handled his 4 loss season at UF with class.

What’s the Florida problem to admit? Don’t hire bad coaches? Everyone would like to avoid that. I don’t share the opinion that there is something greater going on, the bottom line is we’ve made some absolute duds of hires.

Muschamp IMO is a clown.

Florida is a program with history and national championships. South Carolina is a program full of losers and disappointment. They didn’t even win a bowl game till the 90’s.

South Carolinas fan base and Muschamp are perfect for each other....

You fire coaches after 2-3 years even if they’ve had some success. How can you promote stability if there’s a new face every couple years? Expectations are unreasonably high.

Florida has history. But the recent history is a joke....and the world we live in now is all that matters. Kids don’t care what teams did 25 years ago.... they don’t care.

Name the coaches fired after 2 years? Now name all the ones fired after 3 and ask yourself if they deserved to be fired?

One thing I noticed in the threads that compare Mullen's recruiting at UF to Boom's and Mack's is Boom blew them both away.

On defense absolutely, offense not so much, tons of plan B guys. Probably more to do with the revolving door at OC, than his ability to recruit but the offense and defensive recruiting was stark even if you just judge it by the stars.

We tried the stability route by giving Muschamp a 4th year and 3 shots at finding an OC. There were no signs of life.

CNB thinks that Muschamp didn't deserve to be fired.

We hated that McClendon left. He'll do a good job if left alone and allowed to run his offense. I think you guys will be very pleased with him.
