Boy, you literally said Muschamp could have been SC's Dabo.

You are right to be happy with Champ, he should have started at USC, he would probably already be your Dabo.

Because SC fans are trying to sell Muschamp to us like he didn't come here and look like diggity dogshit. Then you guys are acting like Florida made some bad hires when you literally hired our sloppy seconds.

Lolwut? We started this thread? We’re happy with Muschamp and that pisses you off. Admit it.

Not a UF fan, but I think the hate for him around here is rather unwarranted among certain individual posters.

He gets all of the blame for losing to Georgia Southern that one time, but let’s not forget that UF was ridiculously depleted at the time.

the better question is if Will Muschamp had the chance to go back to UF and coach for that fanbase, would he?

Eh, I think it’s right to blame GSU on Champ. He neglected recruiting on the offensive side of the ball from what I know.

That hasn’t been the case here.

Florida has pinned its problems on a slew of injuries. But that excuse doesn't work against Georgia Southern, which has won three in a row and played without 19 of 65 scholarship athletes. The Gators were beaten soundly on both sides of the ball.

I think Muschamp needed that failure at UF. He's still way too stubborn though.

I really like the guy, but I would never want him back. Even if 10 coaches in a row failed. He had his shot, he couldn’t make it work here. It is what it is and I hope he is successful in Columbia for years to come except when they play UF

Given his recruiting as far as the ratings go, just strange you never could assemble a decent offense. Guy had two freaking Elite 11 MVPs to work with. Both major league busts. Not sure how much involved the coaching, but I do think he was unlucky in some aspects. He's got a better QB at SC, but his offense is still crap though. He did hire guys who had been successful before as OCs.

Any person that says they want Muschamp over Mullen is kiding themselves.

Actually, I think they are both good. If I had to pick, I'm not sure which one it would be. Fwiw, I think they will both do well at the schools they are at.

Muschamp just wasn't a good fit at Florida, and I think he is at South Carolina. Mullen? We will have to wait and see for 3 years, or so. Personally, I'm not sure either coach will get their teams where they want to be, but time will tell.

Well, your "sloppy seconds" gave South Carolina a pretty darn good year last year, and they seem to have South Carolina headed in the right direction.

You can't seem to give any other program any credit at all, and give Florida a pass on everything. You try to sell that Kirby Smart was successful only because he had Richt's players (never mind Richt did not do as well with his own players). However, you are completely convinced Mullen will come in and win championships with nothing to base it on yet.

You want to say Muschamp is awful even though he is holding his own and doing quite well at Carolina. Why? because he didn't do it at Florida. Muschamp just wasn't a good fit at Florida and is a good fit at South Carolina.

Best WR and 3 OL got injured. Call it an excuse if you want, but with the way Spurrier left things it’s been a rebuild.

And the one black mark on Muschamp since he’s been here, Kurt Roper

Can’t wait to see how BMac does

Probably not, UF has a lot higher expectations than SC does. And you and Muschamp knows that!

We hated that McClendon left. He'll do a good job if left alone and allowed to run his offense. It hink you guys will be very pleased with him.

You mean you fired him after he went 4-7.

You can tell you're just hatin just to hate. Champ brought in Bentley. He wasnt "already developed there". He wasn't even there. In fact, he had the sense to pull his redshirt his first year that saved his first season.
