I've had a 4k tv since 2014 (a few since as well), and here we are watching ESPN in 720p still 9 years later. These jackasses still havent even upgraded to 1080p yet. At least CBS Game of the Week was always 1080p, and even that was a noticeable improvement over ESPN's shite.
Sigh. We'll never get 4k football broadcasts. Maybe a stream service will do it. They'd get my $$.

It always amazes me how a network that exists to show sports doesn't broadcast pretty much every event in 4k. The Fox game of the week in 4k is effing amazing.
