Disney will be big fans of A&M since they have a lot of gay characters

I’m not worried about that.

I’ve always thought that the Saturday night Football games with Fowler/Herbie or McDonough/Blackledge felt like a completely separate thing than the trash noon games with Mowins and McElroy

If they made McDonough/Blackledge the voice of the SEC's biggest game every week I'd be very happy.

I don't hate Fowler/Herby, but I don't love them. Just kind of lukewarm.

Love McDonough/Blackledge. Blackledge is probably my favorite CFB tv guy.

SEC football is becoming a Disney property and I hate it.

As long as they promise to go somewhere besides The Varsity in Athens.

The cameras were top notch, all that stuff

Partially because our eyes had been used to the 7-pixel JP feed

If Sankey is doing his job, then all aspects of ESPN will be reviewed and upgraded.

All anyone cares about is money anymore. "College football" no longer exists, now we have pre-NFL minor league farm systems with contracts and free agents being whored out to the highest bidder for the right to broadcast it

All of this

Listen, if you cant appreciate watching a replay of a 6 yard Vanderbilt run from a 1984 RCA camera mounted on the top of the upper deck at Davis Wade Stadium then that's a YOU PROBLEM

I can watch any football game I'm so inclined in sparkling HD. Any network, any team, anyhow.

Perhaps some of you are in dire need of a better network plan.

Maybe I’m overly nostalgic, but I do miss watching whatever Big 6 team was down that year play Croom-era Mississippi State to a 17-13 victory at 12:21/11:21CT on Jefferson Pilot. That was the real SEC football that no one but SEC fans got to experience.

You aren't. Watching Kentucky-Vanderbilt in the background with Dave Baker going nuts over a well run 4 yard counter play as you turn on the grill and drink your first beer is the definition of a solid start to the college football Saturday.

Agreed, Bammer.

It’s why I don’t really call myself a capitalist… I’m certainly not a socialist but both systems have a way of poisoning things people love.

SoG is right though, on YouTube TV for example, ESPN's broadcasts are compressed to shite and don't look all that great.

On the 4K feed from Fox, the HDR looks all blown out.

Even though everything is supposed to be HD/UHD and similar, CBS has one of the better picture qualities in my opinion.

I figured as much from you.

This, my Georgia resident friends, is why our state is turning blue.
