You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I disagree. Progressive politics have no place in our universities but it's become a cancer.

I'd actually don't think you disagree with anything I said in my very limited opinion. You branched off well beyond my simple statement about the relative liberalness of UT and Austin as compared to the SEC schools and their communities.

Take LSU (9-3 regular season); returns a ton of players. Recruits well, does well in the portal. That's your stereotypical "primed for a run this season" team.
A&M; 5-7 last year, but was supposed to be good. Returns a lot, recruits well. That's your "will make a big turnaround this season" team.
