Of course the two times our offense puts up points the last like 7 years are the two games our defense has its two worst games in the same time frame. Last year Vandy being the other. This program just sucks. Don't forget we would have choked away to Baylor too if their QB didn't screw up that 2 pt. conversion.

I have been a Durkin fan.
After watching a one legged QB move the ball up and down the field, and now an ill-prepared D look lost and pathetic............I was wrong about Durkin. When an O gets us at 3rd and 15, they have us right where they want us. Hell, I saw a 3rd and 20 go for a TD.......on a running play.

It is a bit misleading. Our DL is bad. We are giving up so many yards on 1st and 2nd downs that a 4th down conversion is a yard.

We had several 5* DL then. It’s those jimmies and joes. How many 5* DEs do you know that want to come play for Durka where instead of rushing the QB, they know they’ll be backing into the flat to cover absolutely nobody?

I agree, and Durka gets zero slack from me. He’s been here 3 years. Over and over again I’ve watched his soft zone defense give up several leads in the 4th quarter. It almost happened twice already this season and probably will happen before the season is over.

We have WAY more talent on Defense than offense. The Florida offense that we couldn't stop last week..... put up 52 against Ole piss. Maybe that running back is just good? Don't know where the AAC shite is coming from. Womack former 5 star, Jared former 5 star, Melendez 4 star, Winters 4 star, Jordin Crawford 4 star, Malik Autry former 5 star, Reddick former 4 star, New boy and Sylvester Smith Reed 4 stars. Dallas Walker, Xavier Atkins, Kaleb harris, Andre Jordan, SEC caliber 3 star guys out of highschool. Really only Sigler, Murray, and Pleasant are AAC G5 type guys and one them (Cody) is a dog. Whatever issue is going on is scheme or effort not talent.

Think they're trash all you like. People have been talking like we got a bunch 2 stars on defense, but it's quite the opposite (on paper). Maybe if the defense didn't have an offense that can't run the ball they'd be more impressive? Just a thought.
