In 2014, Georgia wasn't good enough to play in the SEC Championship game, therefore they did not.
Thank your lucky stars we didnt make it. We would have actually had a shot at beating Bama unlike Mizzou.

USC (because they beat UGA), UGA, A&M, Bama and Minnesota were all in the top 25 when we played them. We went 3-2. How they preformed after playing us is on them. You guys beat a team or two that finished in the top 25. What did you have to show for it? You also lost to more unranked teams than Mizzou did.
End of year rankings are a far better gauge when determining how good a team is considered. Only exceptions are when major injuries occur like with UGA 2013.

Oh, I see, so the team that wasn't good enough would have been good enough if just given a chance they didn't deserve because they weren't good enough. Makes perfect sense.

It's funny that the GA fans go with this Mizzou just isn't very good narrative but then include us as top 25 teams for "quality" wins to compare themselves to Mizzou.
You got an odd sense of humor if you find that funny. Do you consider ranked teams to be better than unranked teams?

Lot of dumb Georgia fans ITT.

There is a reason we finished ranked higher. Thats a better indication of how good a team is. The eye test is legit.

Naah, I think the better indication would be the team that's win the division.

How bout head to head match up and a victory margin of 34 pts?How bout quality wins over RANKED opponents (end of the year ONLY...none of that ranked at the time BS)
Congrats on winning the division but you couldn't fine one impartial observer that would say Mizzou was a better FB team.
Congrats to the schedule maker for not having Bama,LSU or AU on your schedule 3 yrs in a row.

Rankings gave Mizzou credit for the division, but they gave UGA more credit for being better. The best team does not always win the division. See 2007, 2011, and 2014.

Truth. Quit letting the numbnuts get your Jimmies rustled.
They know that UGA was the better team in 2014.
We know that UGA didn't earn the spot in the SECCG.
Let Missouri enjoy their division titles. That is seriously the highlight of their program and a very sensitive subject. They would rather cling to the division title over all logic and common sense.

1. Mizzou's loss to Indiana embarrassed the SEC
Did Arkansas not lose to LA Monroe a few years back? Didn't the Gators lose to an FCS school in 2013? Which is more embarrassing?
only one of those teams had a winning record and won the SECE in a year they lost to an extremely shitty team.

3. (This one is for the Ranters) Winning the SEC East isn't a big accomplishment.
it hasnt been the last few years.

Y'all can't beat us with any consistency. Hell, we could play you in CS 10 years in a row and we'd win 7. So don't get too excited about the East being weaker.

Didn't Georgia beat Mizzou like 100-0 last year at Mizzou. Straight up arse whipping

You need to sign off and go preach to your UGA brethren.

As it stands, you've won a depleted East
The East in 2013 was very strong with two top 10 teams in Missouri and South Carolina and a Georgia team that started in the top 5 but was devastated by injuries.
