Maybe the aubs should buy some billboards ..
AND fly banners over the stadium AND get some ole bald political analyst to wear a T-shirt on air in the pre-game show & piss off the conference commish just for good measure.

Remember when they said Devin White being out for the first half would be a big deal, and then they put up bill boards to raise awareness about targeting for the whole NCAA but they put the billboards in Birmingham where only the SEC offices are located???
Did he ever get in the game at all?

So it will be years before Auburn has another 9 win team? Cause we all know who wins the IB when both teams are good.

Comparing our last 8 and your last 5? Cool

Believe it or not, but 2-3 over 5 games can't get worse than 0-8 in 8. Add 3 games or a million

Auburn always has a chance.Think of all the crazy shite that has happened over the last 40 years. Punt bama punt, the kick, kick 6, 2010 ..we could go on and on.This year is a revenge game so we will see what happens. LSU has Ole Miss Remember Pat Sullivan vs.Johnny Musso ?

Yep it’s dead. Just like the competitiveness that existed in the LSU Alabama series from 2007 till 2012.

almost feels like a funeral, been trying to figure out who or what died in the state of Alabama, and I discovered why. The Alabama vs Aub rivalry is dead! My condolences to all the college football fans in the state of Alabama. We’re going to miss you.

1. We have a coach we despise

2. Were stuck with him because our Administration can't admit fault

3. Bama is playing like men on the school yard

4. Tammy, a large AUB fan, did die this past week.

Both Alabama and Auburn always have a legitimate shot at winning the Iron Bowl regardless of records or coaches. Bama has no business winning the IB in 84 or 85 in Bo Jackson’s Jr and Sr seasons. Never count out either team no matter the season. And the fans on both sides of the rivalry that are blinded by hatred always dream of burying the other program for once and for all but that will never happen. That pendulum will continue to swing both ways back and forth as it always has. No one program will permanently dominate the other.

Can you imagine how bad that would suck?
I don't have to imagine - I was alive during Bama's 9-game streak from '73-81.

Of course that occurred when Bama was also in the middle of an 11-game streak vs LSU, so...

I seriously think it's because the game has and does mean more to Auburn.

Bottom line is unless Auburn is historically bad (2012), Alabama's a-hole is puckered whenever we play. And this impacts how Alabama plays.
You are one of "those" AU fans. Since Bama began its run in 08 six of its seven wins are by double digits, 5 are by more than 2 scores. That is hardly puckering. Wins by 36, 5, 28, 49, 11, 16, 18. 2 of those were against ranked teams and 4 vs 8 win teams. AU usually collapses after losing to Alabama. Sometimes they quit during the game. Bama never quits, even under Shula's talentless teams AU couldn't win by more than one score except for one 10 pt win.

Bama frequently begins tight in important games under Saban as they did under Bryant.

I might be reading this wrong, but you act like y’all are just blowing us out in this rivalry. Y’all have arguably the two best coaches in college history and only lead this series by 9 games
The reason is that they did not play from 1908-1947. Bama would have likely won at least 30 of those 41 games. The series would be 75-47-1. Bama was number 2 nationally in win %, AU was 74.

AU was ahead 4-7-1 through 1907. Since 1947 when the series resumed Bama is 41-29. That's with severe scholarship losses that distorted the record when Bama went 3-8 during that time from 97-07. Bryant and Saban are about to be 27-8. That's during some of the high points in your history - you went 8-27 vs Bama.
