Probably a good thing Tennessee has never been to a Final 4. If they did, they would probably suck at it and never win a single Final 4 game. It would probably suck as a fan for your team to make the final 4 multiple times and then lose every game by double digits.

Well, if that's what's helped you (since your team is the one who's lost every match-up by double digits), you should know. I guess I could give it a try. Thanks.

so by your simpleton logic, Tenn doesn't count any CWS appearances? you only have 1 season in baseball to remember fondly and celebrate? got it, chief.

Mizzou is very surprising to me. Being a former midwest school in big 12(used to be a solid bball conference) I figure they made a run or two before

Hell the only former p5 teams without a final four appearance outside the sec is Nebraska and northwestern(also very surprising)

Ahhh...Logic. I said if they lost EVERY Final 4 game by double digits.

Tennessee's CWS history would include:
1951 - 4 wins and 2 losses (1 loss by 6 runs, the championship game was lost by 1 run)
1995 - 1 win and 2 loses (both losses blowouts to eventual CWS winner)
2001 - 2 wins and 2 losses (both losses blowouts to eventual CWS winner)
2005 -0 wins and 2 losses (this is the type of arse-whipping I was talking about)
2021 - 0 wins and 2 losses (again...this type of arse-whipping is frustrating)
2023 - 1 win and 2 losses (sucks, but at least there was 1 win)
2024 - 4 wins 0 losses - CWS champions...

In the CWS, Tennessee's overall record is 12-12

Here is what I was talking about.

LSU's Final 4 History would include:
1953 - LSU Final 4 - 0 wins 2 losses - lost final 4 game by 17, then consolation game by 19
1981 - LSU Final 4 - 0 wins 2 losses - lost final 4 game by 18, then lost consolation game by 4
1986 LSU Final 4 - 0 wins 1 loss - lost final 4 game by 11
2006 - LSU Final 4 - 0 wins 1 loss - lost final 4 game by 14

In the Final 4, LSU's record is 0-6. The only single digit loss was a consolation game.

you also said this...........

and i can assure you, seeing 3 of those 4 final 4's was painful, however, they still made the final 4. zero titles/wins, but seasons to celebrate as a fan, i know i did back then even though it was painful to watch. no matter how you slice it, we made the final 4. didn't win it all, but we made the final 4. just like in 2011/12, what an embarrassing display in the BCSNCG, but, that season is still memorable, and embarrassing, but we were 12-0 and worth the ride we went on.

but continue being grateful for never making it so you can't be 0-6, i guess the midol is needed in your case.

Midol? That's the beauty of having low expectations...if you don't expect to win, you can take it in stride. You are the one who sounds like your uterus is bothering you.

Probably because they were in the same league as Kansas for decades.

If a college teams success is that critical to your life, you’re beyond midol. You have to be around 18.

Florida will be seven this year, Florida has six FF’s since 2000; Kentucky only has four. Gators > Midcats

So was the rest of the big 12 but they all made it sans Nebraska.
