After Nick Marshall threw the "The Miracle at Jordan-Hare" TD pass in 2013 vs Georgia, the question was asked:
"Was that the greatest throw in Auburn football history?"
The answer was: "No...it was when Cam Newton threw the laptop out of the Florida dorm window!!!"

Spurrier's quip about the library books always gets a chuckle from me.

Spurrier, “Heard about the big fire at the Auburn Library. I’m glad everyone got out safely. Lost some coloring books and some crayons melted, but no loss of life.”

I've always gotten good chuckle out of Spurrier's line about UGA:
Also, I love me a good Offseason National Title. It's practically as good as the real thing.

I don't know. I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended.

I think it was “lost a lot of books and the real tragedy was that most of them hadn’t been colored yet”
On the right track anyway

This might as well just become a “best lines by Steve spurrier thread”

Meh, corn dogs.
Actually, I love corn dogs just like everyone (including black folks) loves watermelon and fried chicken. Who tf cares?

Tennessee...all you need is the punchline:
They can wear it picking up trash on Friday, at the ballgame on Saturday and Hunting on Sunday.

"Don't let this distract you from the fact that Texas lost to Kansas in football."
I saw that so many times on twitter, but I couldn't hate. It was funny... and true. Texas lost to KU in football

That we are gay because we don't allow cheerleaders.
Reason being is easily one of my least favorite things about A&M was how when I went many of the students then were very anti-gay. I remember in particular an anti-gay parade one day with signs like "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve."
The irony that those same people are now being slurred as gay makes me smile on the inside. I have long said if the old Ags knew how pervasive that joke was we would have pussy waving poms poms the next day. I am glad they don't know.

This was some years before Saban, and Alabama was pretty bad:
The Rollin' Stones are coming to Bryant Denny Stadium, and they are favored by 14 points.
