Don’t know if it counts, but when we played Alabama in Basketball after 1/9/12 and crossed mid court, all the fans stood up and cheered. I laughed my arse off.

Didn't LSU turn the ball over in the back court on their first possession too?

Lmao man I can’t even remember. I stayed pretty litty titty from 1/9/12 to about two weeks after. This years NC completely wiped away the pain from 1/9/12 though

Back around the time when we endured a 21-game losing streak in '99 and '00, I heard about the one where a Gamecock fan had a dog who he was showing off to his buddies while watching a Carolina football game. Everytime Carolina got a first down, he wagged his tail furiously. When they scored a field goal, he would bark loudly. When they scored a touchdown, he would roll over back and forth a few times. Seemingly impressed, one of them asks the apparently very proud owner what the dog does when Carolina wins. The owner frowns and says, "Hell I don't know, I've only had him a couple of years."

Lmao that’s a good one. You know, it’s incredible that despite losing that damn much, y’all still kept the stadium packed. That’s always amazed me. I didn’t pay much attention to y’all back then, 2000 was the first year I really started paying attention to football and I only watched LSU (I was 7), but now that I’ve gotten older and learned about how bad it got and how y’all still managed to keep fans in the seats and support the team it’s always impressed the hell out of me. Hell of a loyal fan base.

That’s even better. If A&M being in the SEC means a bunch of southern boys have to come face to face with their homophobia then it’s win win.
