Explain to me how Jimbo isn't the same as Ed O and Chizik according to Rant standards

All three won a NC with a generational QB...and that's it.
Out of all three, I'd say that O has the best chance to proe he wasn't a one-hit-wonder, but maybe he is.
Jimbo definitely hasn't proved it. He ran his program into the ground after his one NC, then bolted. And that program has never recovered from his tenure.
At least Auburn cut ties before they fell to FSU's fate.
And Ed O seems to be able to maintain, if not accomplish. Time will tell.
But for some reason, Ed and Chizik are treated as flukes, while Jimbo is given the benefit of the doubt and viewed by some as the next best thing to Saban.
Why?

Maybe, but you can't put FSU's failures on Jimbo. That was all FSU with their hiring choices after.
They started his final season #3, but their OL had troubles and their starting QB got hurt. Which is exactly what has happened at A&M this year as well and that is notable.
But FSU still had plenty of talent and was a good program overall when he left. The coaches that followed have done a terrible job.

Right now it's because Mike Elko has carried his arse.

Interesting that no one gives Ed O this excuse.

Ummmm, yes you can and should hold Jimbo accountable for how he left FSU. Not sure why he gets a pass but others in the exact same situation don’t.
He left FSU in dire straights. One QB injury should not break a elite coach’s season, let alone send the entire program into a death spiral.

Jimbo is better than Orgeron and Jimbo will never have a losing record to LSU.

This is the sole reason they pay him $9 million.
Being 2-1 over LSU is equal to winning a championship in Aggieland.

No he’s not. They’re both living off one one QB, recruit well, and talk in ways that make them hard to understand.
They’re a lot more alike than they are different. Difference being LSU has O on a very short leash and aggy just gave Jimbo another ridiculous contract.

I take issue with this common use of the term "generational quarterback."
By definition, a generational quarterback is a once-in-a-generation phenomenon. Cam, Jameis, and Joe Burrow, are all members of the same generation, along with countless others (Tebow, Mahomes, RG III, etc.).
It's not a "generational QB" if there's a new one every year or two. Call them "best in class," perhaps, because that's what they are, the best of their draft year class.

Meh. He’ll probably be 4-1 in two years.

Yes he is and it’s not even close.

Key terms for Aggie fans:
"If"
"Maybe"
"Probably"
"When"
"Possibly"
"Next year"

Jimbo is more like Malzahn, got a ridiculous new contract for not winning a damn thing.

You prove, yet again, your intellectual capacity is as weak as aggy’s trophy case is empty.
I’d say do better, but much like aggy football, this is as good as it will ever be.

Let’s go ahead and pre-print a plaque with “ 4-1 against lsu. ” on it since college station has a trophy company that does this kind of thing.
I thought Telefawx was one of the smart ones. Not so.

In Aggie land he is practically Enstein.

Overall coaching records for each, not including their (possibly fluke) championship years:
Gene Chizik: 24-38 (.387)
Ed Orgeron: 49-42 (.538)
Jimbo Fisher: 98-32 (.742)
I mean, that's probably why they aren't mentioned in the same breath. Fisher is clearly above the other two.

Most of those names are generational for their respective schools. A&M had one in Johnny Football but they couldn’t even win their own division with him.
