Uh, you do know this is the Rant, right? Reality has no place here.

let me give it to you in a way that you'll fully understand, and more importantly, will make you feel better.

33% of the Alabama roster disagrees with you. I say 33% because that’s the percentage of players who’ve entered the transfer portal…
So far.

There is none. Boise fans were happy to see Harsin go. Washington fans were not happy to lose DeBoer. That should tell you right there that the comparison is dead.

They are stupid. These are the same people who thought Harsin was going to be great when he was hired.
I told them what was going to happen with Harsin from the day he was hired, and why. They don't give a shite about facts, they just want to believe whatever makes them feel better.
This is the way of the rant. And all posts will be anchored long before anything is proven.
The only thing dumber are Texas fans who think Sark is a better coach, and Alabama fans who still think Crimson Bozo is an insider rather than someone who plays them for attention and status by posting things they want to believe(you were all dumb 4 years ago, you're even dumber now). Hell, the guy has a 50/50 chance guessing random and I doubt his record is even above .500. I wonder if his real name is Jim Kramer.
Harsin made every team he coached worse, and Auburn was no exception. He took over a Chris Petersen Boise St team, and they got worse every single year. He also did it at Arkansas St after following Gus there.
DeBoer has the exact opposite history. 2 people have turned Washington from a 7 win average team to national championship contenders. One was Chris Petersen, and the other is DeBoer.
And for all you stupid Texas fans, Sark coached at Washington for 4 years and averaged 7 wins a year, earning him the nickname "7 win Sark". Even at Texas he averaged 7 wins a season until last year. Where he then goes to lose the playoff game to a team he couldn't crack 8 wins with, coached by DeBoer even while having a clear talent advantage.
I haven't seen this much fear and overcompensation from the rant in quite awhile. It's been quite entertaining to read.
Probably one of the best hires possible to make outside Kirby, and that obviously wasn't going to happen. Sure as hell don't want any of the coaches from the other SEC teams. Brian Kelly? Oh frick no. Sark? Terrible hire. That fat POS in Tennessee? I'd be ashamed. Kiffin maybe if he would grow up. Freeze maybe if not for his baggage.
Never change rant, I know you won't.

It has less to do with staff and more to do with opportunity
The majority were already leaving. It is the nature of the beast.
The recent outflow of high-end players and potential starters is more opportunistic than dissatisfaction.
Portal doesn't necessarily mean gone. It's pursuing "pay raises" in an unrestricted era of free agency.
Kids can earn 6-figure+ salaries in college, and they are maximizing their rights to do so.
It is a new era.

Logic? ...... Since when is logic a factor in reason?

The casual fan can see what’s happening clearly. A dumpster fire has broken out in Tuscaloosa. Bama fans can’t understand that a golden era has ended.

He's comparing Harsin taking over at Boise State to DeBoer taking over at Washington and referring to Boise State winning 11-12 games on the regular. At least I think that's what he meant... even though he worded it like a dumbass

DeBoer compares to Harsin in terms of dividing a roster and guys leaving and having zero SEC ties. He's not the idiot that Harsin was, and he clearly has a better resume which any logical fan can see, BUT we're essentially saying he's the wrong guy at the wrong time for you just like the potato man. He'll be better than Harsin, but when he doesn't win championships the fanbase will eat him alive. He's the guy before the guy dude. It's not that hard to understand

So you're the same idiot who thought Harsin was going to be a good hire because you don't have the first clue what to look for.

If I say yes, will that make you feel better about the terrible job the Bama administration did at hiring Sabans replacement? Lol Sure dude, I'm that dummy who believed in the Boise State coach. Ya got me dead to rights baw lol

DeBoer just played in the national title game. As far as I know Harsin never did. For that matter neither has Freeze

If you say no, then you are a liar. Especially since you already demonstrated you don't have a clue in what to look for in a coach. As if nobody ever comes to the SEC and has success without southern ties? That's stupid crap people with 5 minute memories believe and it had nothing to do with Harsin being a shitty coach. He was a shitty coach before Auburn hired him, he continued to be a shitty coach after. Your AD was a dumbass.
Beyond that, I can only guess you are using the excuse of trolling to say stupid shite.
Go ahead and tell me the guy you think can replace Saban. Are you trying to pretend like anything that wasn't an upgrade or equal grade coach is a failure?

Living on a prayer like always.

The funny part about your melt is the fact that DeBoer is actually a very similar hire to BK.

Why, because they aren't from the south?
