The NCAA will eventually look for the next place to make an example of and LSU is sitting there with Kiffin and Pear.

I see your point but this is such a unique situation with the 5 for 5 stuff. Most of these guys wouldn't have tried the NFL route had they known the 5 for 5 was a legit option. The NCAA handled this all so poorly timeline wise. All they had to do was wait till to announce the 5 for 5 later or just give blanket waivers to the 2022 class. They would have avoided all this mess.

I do not recognize college sports anymore.
Crazy that good players can make more in college sports than pro sports. The great ones will still make more going pro.

they should have done this back in March if they wanted to implement 5 for 5 for this coming football season. Only giving blanket waivers wouldn't have avoided this mess because you'd still have had NFL players trying to go basck to college in that scenario. They would have needed to do this a long time ago and given blanket waiver, not one or the other.
But of course, whatever the course of action the NCAA wishes to take, they can't avoid tripping on their own dicks every time

What makes a two way contract (Bediako and Luis) so much worse than an Exhibit 10 contract (Mark Mitchell)?
Both are NBA contracts, but players like Mitchell going to Kentucky aren’t getting anywhere near the pushback of players like Bediako and Luis.

Bediako played three years in the G League (a pro league) while this kid didn’t even play in a preseason game.
