Arizona Bark Scorpions are the worst. Lot of them in the newer homes in the Phoenix area especially Scottdale.

Had 1 in the house a few years back & my wife stepped on it. That was the most blood-curling scream I’ve ever heard.

About closed my car door with one in the hand hold. Kids all been stung by them. Used to hunt them at night with a black light. Now that we have cats and chickens we don’t have too many around the house.

I did, Just west of Georgetown along the San Gabriel. I probably killed an average of 1 a week, March to Oct. And was stung 5 or 6 times over a 15 year period Odd sting. Hurt like hell for a minute then completely goes away. Would rather be hit by a scorpion than a red wasp.

When I was stationed in New Mexico, we used to put them in a hot paraffin wax crock pot. Poured them out and watched them solidify lol. Weird shite

Just happened to me. If our defense could have moved as fast as my 55 year old arse just did, we would have won yesterday.

That and my heart is in good shape…. frick…

Exact same thing happened to me. I thought I had slapped it away too, but nope, it was a damn Ninja, and crawled inside my button up shirt. I was looking all over the floor for it, and my son comes up and sees the dang scorpion on the inside of the collar of my shirt and right as he is telling me, the fricker stings me on the neck. I ripped every button getting out that fricking shirt in lightning speed.

Still never found the damn ninja scorpion either. Think it crawled under the fridge.

Got stung by one in Navasota Texas at our farm. It stung for a little while but was a nothingburger. Maybe some people are allergic to the poison, I definitely was not.

I live in Gilbert, AZ. They are all over the place here, bark scorpions, and there are tons of Palm trees they live in around our neighborhood. I hate the little bastards. I get stung at least once a year. Might be semi-allergic. I get tingles like needles under the skin on my arms and legs when I get stung. Like the feeling when you sleep on your arm and it goes dead, and you wake up and move it and the blood starts pumping back into it. Plus my eyes get all twitchy and tongue and mouth get numb...It lasts for about half a day. Bark scorpions have the same poison as a rattler just less of it..

Was in a bar in El Paso and this guy had one on the wall next to his ear. One of the small ones. Heard they pack more punch than a bigger one. Well I smacked it and dude was pissed for a second before I showed him. Didn't have to buy a beer all night.

What’s funny about that is I just went to the emergency room two weeks ago because I was feeling really off.

Can’t be too careful, 50+ guys drop dead every day because they ignore warning signs.

Was given a clean bill of health on any cardiovascular issues, thank GOD. The scorpion just confirmed it.

Havent had the scorpion experience, but when I was a kid was walking around a lake in Mississippi with a friend, talking and looking back at him when he says "STOP".

I froze, had my foot in the air about 8 inches above a huge thick black water moccasin, coiled up and hissing with that white mouth. We were miles from any medical attention. Thank god I was able to hold that pose until the snake slithered off.

Red wasp is number one

Those damn furry caterpillar/asps are easily number two

Scorpion is about the same as a yellow jacket would probably prefer either over 15 or 20 fire ants finding my foot at the same time
