Jamarr Chase will have a better career in the NFL but he had the greatest Heisman winner in history (his QB) distract from his college accomplishments.

No, he won't.

Can your wide receiver do this?
Heisman Trophy winner, ... owned a four- and five-touchdown game making him the only receiver in SEC history with multiple career games totaling four or more receiving touchdowns ... holds the SEC and Alabama career record for receiving touchdowns with 46, passing the previous mark of 31 held by Amari Cooper (2012-14) and Chris Doering of Florida (1992-95) ... the Alabama and SEC career receiving yards leader with 3,965 ...
Selected as the AP Player of the Year, the first wide receiver to ever win the award ... also tabbed as Player of the Year by CBS Sports, Maxwell Football Club, The Sporting News, and Walter Camp ... the Biletnikoff Award winner, presented annually to the nation's top pass catcher ... recipient of the Paul Hornung Award, given to the nation's most versatile player ... unanimous first-team All-American (AFCA, AP, FWAA, TSN, Walter Camp) ... also earned first-team All-America accolades from CBS Sports, ESPN.com, Pro Football Focus and USA Today ...
The SEC Offensive Player of the Year by the AP and the league coaches ... also named to the league's first team by both groups ... led the country in receptions (117), receiving touchdowns (23), and receiving yards (1,856)
The "Slim Reaper" can.

He only played two years. Devonta Smith played 4. Lol

But could he do it in a regular year?

Do you mean instead of only 11 SEC teams and 2 top 4 OOC Playoff teams?
I'm sure Devonta feels bad about missing all the directional schools traditionally on an SEC schedule.

I was alluding more to the fact that a lot of the top prospects sat out and some teams with the best players only played six games lol.

You don't come back to a place like ALABAMA for a senior season if you're inherently a quitter. Nor do you become the most decorated wide receiver in the history of college football.

Trevon Diggs did

Not your best effort. Face it, cajun boy, Jamar Chase quit on your football team. That will always be a "No Mas" part of his legacy at LSU and college football.

Josh Reed gave me nightmares. Felt like he caught everything.
He sure was fun to watch - Rohan to Reed. Funny - dude came in as a RB - Saban converted him to a WR. He def did not look like your common wideout.

Chase accomplished almost as much in two seasons as D Smith did in four

I wasn't attempting to do anything but point out that players do indeed quit on BAMA contrary to your false claim.

Larry Fitzgerald was incredible, and his stats during the 2003 season were absolutely insane especially given the time and offense he played in. Dude had a couple TD catches against A&M that year that were made despite triple coverage.

DeVonta Smith might not be #1 all-time but he is certainly the most decorated receiver of all-time. The dude won just about every award and honor available to a WR in the college game.
I agree - the list is letting NFL influence the ranking a little bit. Based on stats & competition, Smith had the best WR season of all time in CFB. It is worth noting they played in a different era where DBs could do more to slow down offenses than what they can today & schematically things were in a different place.

You would be less than an idiot had Chase simply sat out the Citrus bowl, instead of the entire year. By the way, Trevon Diggs had a career-high 10 tackles vs LSU his senior season. Not bad for a no-show.

Odd.
You have referred to Arik Gilbert as a quitter after he opted out for LSU's final two games but you apparently refer to Diggs as a quitter for sitting out Alabama's final game.
It seems the same standards don't apply for BAMA homers.

I guess at least he was making the tackles after he gave up the catches.
