If this holds, the first week of 2025 will have
#2 Texas @ #1 Ohio State. Can't wait.

You just had your once every two decades decent team.

You lived the dream.

We'll see you in another couple of decades.

As a longtime Bama Fan and still one of the old "SEC" conference fans, uTX needs to help carry the water.

I've never liked the big10+. It's always tOSU and Mich. The rest are just fodder....and the SEC has historically played very well against the big10+

....so it usually doesn't matter if tOSU loses a buch of players. They still run over the B10.

Same thing happened with Michigan.

If you are turning over half of your roster, you shouldn’t be ranked.

You obviously aren’t much of an LSU fan. If you were then you would have been following our recruiting and portal signings. Our overall roster is significantly upgraded from this past year. This will be, by far, the best roster at LSU since 2019.

Oh at least. The ones that remain just had their value increase after winning the National Championship. Will Tosu pay to retain those guys that could return when there isn't much else returning? I doubt it.

Sure

Isn't that pretty much dildoU in a nutshell next fall?

The self awareness of UTrans fans in non-existent.

We’ll be young for sure, but the talent level will increase. Arch is ready to go. Our offensive line returns multiple guys with valuable starts, including Trevor Goosby who shut down Aggies “vaunted” DLine as a freshman. We’ll actually have a run game in 2025. The WR room is stacked and full of burners. The defense looks scary. Three deep at edge. Hill & Lefau best LB duo in the SEC. Taffe in the back end bringing along our young stars. The interior D-line will be overhauled, but Texas has proven year after year that they can generate elite play at DT.

I don't follow UTrans too closely but I thought I saw where y'all were had 16 starters declaring for the NFL draft this year.

-4 offensive linemen (only 2 are getting replaced with guys that haven’t seen significant snaps)
- 1 QB
-2 DT
-1 edge
-1 WR (Bond wasn’t a starter at the end of the year)
-2 DBs

We probably had 16 total declare. Some of them weren’t starters (like Blue)

Regular follower of the recruiting page. Been lurking there since early Miles days. I know who we got. I also know what we still need.

It isn't that hard to have the best roster since 2019. It was left bare. We are not even close to 2019 though. If we are, I will happily eat crow, but replacing our two tackles is hard enough. We still need more depth at D-line and more than just the one safety we got through the portal.
