He's gonna end up at UNLV with Dan Mullen.

That would be legitimately insane if that happened. But I guess it’s Tennessee so nothing is completely off the table

I almost feel sorry for Nico. Almost.

I knew this exact type of thing would happen sooner or later when this whole NIL & Collective thing began. Overzealous fathers or uncles, or other family member high-jacking a kids career and destroying it with greed.

This whole mess is why $$$ like this for players 18-22 never made sense. The players are too young to understand the business aspect of it all. Overzealous adults get involved and railroad kids to oblivion and ultimate bankruptcy.

He also can’t transfer to an SEC program during this window.

Jesus Christ reading comprehension how does it work?

You cannot transfer from SEC team to SEC team in the spring portal window AND PLAY THIS YEAR.

He absolutely could transfer to OU sit a year and then play in 2026. Given how much he sucks, his family sucks, and OU sucks it's a match made in heaven.

I was responding to a completely different person who posted that Nico was going to transfer to UGA to play on the scout team. OU has nothing to do with my post or what I said. Control your emotions and work on your own reading comprehension.

This event is just one tiny pebble in the bottomless ocean of dysfunction that is today’s college football experience. The money will continue to flow and there will remain no true governance or effective rules.

Good for the Vols (and I never say that). I have no pity for Nico in all of this.

See Jayden Rashada. Spent a year at UGA as a transfer for the NIL money to play scout team.

Doesn't look like he has NFL skills so this might be a case of get it while you can.

Unfortunately it appears Nico is about to get a hard lesson in free market economics.

From this article
Headline
South Carolina OC Mike Shula Confirms LaNorris Sellers' Spring Plan After Shane Beamer Sets $3.7M QB’s Expectations Straight

This is probably why Nico wanted $4M for this season.

Nobody is going to pay him $4 million to go sit on their bench for a year, except texsa (see Arch manning).

OSU was trying to steal him from South Carolina. That is why the payout to be $3.7M.

Tennessee fans should be grateful that he’s gone because he was absolute dogshit against P5 defenses with a pulse.

I know about Rashada. We’ve got a little bit of a different situation here though

I hope Notre Dame pays him too. He was one of the few QBs we beat last year and ND is on our 2025 schedule.
