A drug suspension has to last more than 1 game amiright?

nah

look at Garcia. He must have failed 100 of those things, and only this last one really resulted in any real punishment... and that was just because he was sucking on the field

Its 100% up to the coach

Umm, no. Garcia only failed one drug test. His test wasn't for legal limit, either, it was for anything at all.

I'm pissed. We're going to get curbstomped in all likelihood, but instead of expecting it and not being too terribly upset by the upcoming loss, this damn story is causing me to hope!

#1- We're going to beat Auburn regardless

#2- There is nofrickingway these 2 are suspended for Bama unless they basically tell Miles to go frick himself.

LSU
1st offense - no suspension
2nd offense - suspended 15% of games (rounded up or down???)

Actually, this will ensure that LSU takes this game very seriously and does not look ahead to Bama... Doubt it changes the spread by more than 2 points.

I bet this is a mistake and the players that tested positive are actually benchwarmers. I am sure there is enough time to get this sorted out.

This will be just fine against auburn. I actually think Ford will run much better against Auburn then Ware would have. I think missing Mathieu hurts with some of the spread Aub does but Simon will get some great reps and we can really work out our 4-3 for Bama.

I think ware will be missed greatly for Bama though if he cant play. LSU is just so deep that even after losing two of our best players, we are still just fine.

LSU — One strike: counseling. Two strikes: 15% of a season. Three strikes: one-year suspension. Four strikes? Uh, start all over again, maybe? LSU does not have an automatic dismissal built in to its drug policy. According to the information turned over to FanHouse.com, LSU athletes do not have to live to a true X-strikes-and-you’re-out code. Just in case someone “accidentally” breathes in second-hand weed at a concert… four times. Pretty weak.

Too bad that isn't 15% of the remaining season.
