FPI is a self fulfilling prophecy.

FPI doesn't like LSU's defense. It had Bama ahead of LSU in it's rankings for several weeks after LSU beat them

Probably due to Clemson being the defending champs and the experience factor

Nobody is high on LSU's defense.

Are you really surprised that the program that has won 2 of the last 3 national championships and returned their entire offense from a team that put up 37 points on Alabama in last years title game is picked to win?

I know your head is firmly entrenched in Paul Finebaum's arse but come on...

In fairness though their defense has played good the pas few games. They turned it up after the Ole Miss game. I think Trevor gets his yards and done touchdowns but it won’t be as easy as it was vs. my team.

What data did they put in for this LSU team’s heart?

FPI is the worst metric I've seen. It really makes no sense at times and doesn't seem all that accurate.

Sunshine is going to know K'lavon Chaisson and Michael Divinity very intimately this evening.

While Chase Young is a fast player, there are at least 4 starters on LSU'S front 7 that are that fast if not faster and he best account for Jacobi Stevens even as he uses the bathroom at halftime.

I don't watch (or listen to) Finebaum.
