They’ve ruined college football.

Kirk Herbstreit and his ilk should be ashamed at the way they arrogantly pontificate each week that all games matter when the real point of the playoff is to ensure at least one of Alabama or Ohio State gets in each and every year.

We’ve never had a playoff that didn’t involve one of those teams, and they would rather blow up the credibility of the entire sport than have one without them in.

The ratings for the Top 4 will be off the charts. A Bama and Texas rematch has me pulling on my peter already.

Is it still to early to bring up the loss?

I'm not even mad, Disney killed college football years ago.

Disney destroys anything they touch. ESPN is just another casualty.

The cheating and buying of plays pre-NIL by Bama then UGA ruined it.
Lost parity.

It’s actually very impressive what Saban has done for Alabama through ESPN. He is on Gameday almost every week via phone call. He has a segment on the Pat Mcafee show every Thursday. He has used ESPN to be his talking platform. No way ESPN would ever not include him or Bama in anything. Look how many times they played him saying last night the best teams need to get in. This is a respect post because he has earned it on the field.

Stop counting on Kirk Herbstreit to fight your battles for you. Kirk Herbstreit didn't put on a helmet in the Iron Bowl.

If ESPN had the SEC TV contract in 1997, no way Charles Woodson would have won the Heisman Trophy over Peyton Manning.
