So he'll have those numbers until he plays TCU.

I don't think they'll play anything else resembling a good defense. Texas maybe?

100% possible - he will put up huge numbers all season. Outside of Texas, TCU and maybe Iowa State I doubt he'll see much resistance at all.

How is Trevor Lawrence above JB?

Same reason that Trevor Lawrence is above Anthony Gordon and Jon Wassink.

No way a OU QB wins it this year. Hurts is proving that OU system is made to pad QB stats and they don't play a defense worth a damn.

The closest Hurts came to those numbers at Bama was a 300 yard passing/ 100 rushing game he had against a terrible Miss St game his freshman year at Bama in 2016.

Every good defense Hurts played against at Bama, completely shut him down.

Trevor makes no sense here. It’s supposed to just be week 1. You can put him back on if he elevates his performance again later

FCS players can technically win it, but it'll probably never happen. Steve Mcnair had one of the the best cases when he played and I think he finished third 94 or 95 ish I think

I think in Bo Jackson's year some guy from Plymouth State got invited to New York

This would be a very nice, subtle troll but deliberately misspelling the names is so beneath you, Taylor. It's decent but it still puts off "trying way too hard" vibes.

Jalen has never struggled throwing the ball when defenses are struggling to cover his receivers or slow his running game.

So you're telling me that there is no one on OU's schedule who will challenge him.

cool. Two Alabama trained quarterbacks in the top 3. I don't know if any college program has ever been able to claim that.

And only a couple of years ago, most rival fans on this board were proclaiming how much Jalen Hurts sucks.

Where do you come up with this? The big 12 air raid conference with no defenses narrative doesn’t work anymore. Hell there’s not even an air raid offense left in the big 12 besides MAYBE ttech and OSU. ISU, Texas, TCU, and even Kstate have good defenses. If the big 12 had such bad defenses you wouldn’t see OU and Texas put half a hundred on teams like Alabama and UGA every time they play them.
