Show me where I said you have no business being in the discussion. I think you deserve to be right around us... don't think you belong ahead given how the season FINISHED, but certainly in the conversation. I don't believe a team should be penalized in the rankings (or bowl selection) for playing in conference championship games. If your arse is at home, it's for a reason and therefore should either be weighed similarly to a loss.
I for one am actually glad that you guys have gotten out of the bottom. Good to have some changes in the guard. UT falls, USC rises and UF on the mend. Arkansas falls, aTm shows up and Ole Miss showing signs of life. Looking forward to another fight for the East in 2012. It seems to me that USCe fans just take everything so personally. Why is that?

Without their leading rusher, GT was a drive away from winning... hardly a ringing endorsement of ANY team in that conference. Clemson was Les Miles away from losing their bowl game as well.

Doesn't matter. Head to head match-ups selectively don't matter according to UGA fans.

Was looking for something else but found this... I lol'ed... supports UGA but I think it's laughable.

I don't misunderstand your point at all... because you had the rough end of it this year you didn't make it... sorry? Your coach didn't seem to think it was much of a factor last year:
Looking at the schedules this year, I'd say there isn't a significantly bigger difference. Ole Miss improved. You replaced a Miss St team that you beat by 2 with an offensively inept LSU that you lose to by 2 and Clemson played marginally better this year compared to last? (Conference champs in 2011, more wins this year) Ark/Aub were essentially the same dumpster fire this year. Hugely different.
Win more games. Don't lose to UF which should have been a very winnable game for you.

Granted you got boned by the officials, but nonetheless it took a miracle for you to beat Michigan. We played tight for 2.5 quarters and then walked away with ours... more impressive.
Clowney gets most impressive play of the bowl season IMO

They don't matter as much as long as you achieve a stated pre-season goal of winning the SEC East. Had UGA not obtained that goal, then head to head would have mattered more.

I get that. However, how does he get off by thanking us for losing while cursing Bama for winning. Given my last post, he contradicts himself trying to be a hardass by putting down my team bc I called him out on a stupid statement. Yeah, we might have replaced y'all had we won, but y'all were ranked that high bc of Bama. If y'all lost to Bama, lsu an Florida then y'all would have just been another Petrino coached arky team. Beating Bama got y'all above that.
