Bunch of haters up in here. Jones walked into a dumpster fire and is only in his third year now. He is bringing in talent and building a roster that should be competing for the top spot soon. He gets a pass for what he had to work with so far so why pass all the judgement and say he is a shitty coach? Y'all have anything solid to back that claim up with? Yeah, Jones have made some bone headed calls but what coach hasn't? This will be his first year to see what he's got, imo, but so far Jones has been on point. If Jones gets UT 8+ wins this year then you can count on a Jones led UT to get to the ATL in '16 and you can take that to the bank.

Tennessee wasn't a dumpster fire. It's kind of embarrassing that it took Butch two years to get bowl eligible and it barely happened in year 2 when you consider how weak the East has been. If Vanderbilt was half as competent as they were in 2013 Butch still wouldn't have gotten into a bowl game. I don't understand how he didn't see that Dobbs was his best QB when it is plainly obvious?

I mean, former players weren't allowed and didn't even wanna be around the program under Dooley. If that doesn't mean dumpster fire then I don't know what does.
He won a bowl his second year with the youngest roster in the country. Most " experts" said UT would win 4/5 games. But why am I telling you, you're obviously an insider with deep knowledge of UTs football program.
