I first visited Tiger Stadium back in 2003 and have always enjoyed football banter with LSU fans. The game got away from you in the second quarter, but you fought your arse off in the second half. Always have had respect for the LSU program. You have a very good coach and you are on the right track. Go whip Purdue’s arse. You are ahead of schedule.

I loved Daniels' grit.
He was having a Byron Leftwich moment (UGA fans saw Aaron Murray finish out a TD drive with an ACL against Kentucky).
No Dawg can deny the amount of heart and toughness in that kid.

And Perkins was around the ball all game.

It was a fun one to watch.

I was impressed with how Kelly had the team prepared after a week. He clearly focused on the Ga Tech tape with the short passes in the middle, plus the perimeter game. Daniels went from looking lost to a gunslinger by seasons end. LSU will win an SEC championship while he is there, I'm certain of it.

Kelly is a good coach. It takes testicular fortitude to come into a conference where the bullets are flying. Lots of good coaches stay away looking for the easy path.

We had a Tiger behind us (50 something with his 13-15 year old son) giving us the neck chant and telling us to ‘suck his Tiger dick bitch’. It was helpful to score the next 4 touchdowns.

I had a Georgia guy bark at me and attempt to bite me. It was weird.

We've got a pretty solid staff for QB development, and I think they wrung out every ounce of football ability that Daniels had. Gives me hope for what they can do with Nussmeier, Howard and beyond.

Most of the actual UGA alums I’ve run into IRL have been good people and fun to watch games with.

It’s unfortunate that this board doesn’t mirror that (which goes for every fanbase represented here).

I will say that Georgia is freaking stacked. I wasn't expecting LSU to win this game. Good game and good luck in playoffs.

I've always enjoyed Georgia fans when they visit. Best of luck the rest of the way!

Nice post. Georgia folks were very cordial.

as an aside,I was surprised at the inordinate number of prime lower level seats that went unused. Evidently the corporate type folks passed. Kept staring at them from SEC 317.

Daniels and Nuss were throwing darts.
They were carving up zone coverage.
And Nuss was pushing the ball deep and beating our 2 very good safeties like a drum.

If given a clean pocket, both QBs can be game winners (I was also impressed with the 2 freshmen tackles. Our stunts didn't have any effect on their pass pro). The fact that they are freshmen should be scary for the West and Florida. Weight room and workouts should improve their run game.)

It was a pretty cordial affair at the stadium. Mutual respect between the fanbases appeared to be present

I sat next to the kid who was the Mike the Tiger mascot suit for 2020 and 2021. He seemed like a great kid, and we chatted the whole time.

Good post. Kelly made some of the same points in his post game talk to the team.
