I simply pointed out a glaring similarity with the Saints and LSU, an obvious fact that if that powerful Tiger defense gets any major help from the offense and it likely will, Alabama may not see another championship. Plus Saban is as old as dino urine.

Uhhhh...truetiger, have you looked at the LSixU roster for next year? Especially the defense? Tell me how playing a 3-4 with a total of six LBs , four of whom are converted safeties, Rbs.etc, who average low 3star is going to work out? Add in DL incompetence... it isn't likely to be pretty.

i recall reading something many years ago from the corndog nation that with Cam Cameron your offense was going to be a world beater. DA's are going to still be DA's. You may very well beat Bama next year but please reign in the horses.

Next year will be a tough year for LSU.

BYU
at UF
at Tenn
at Alabama
at Ole Miss
Auburn

are all probable losses.

LSU has no QB and will be facing teams with proven QBs.

Depleted defense and Louisiana is getting gutted in recruiting by Alabama. Orgeron losing recruiting battles left and right.
A bland OC hire for LSU after getting turned down by Kiffin and a big name, proven hire at OC by Bama isn't helping matters for LSU who already has a reputation among recruits as a terrible place to go if you play offense.

You do realize that LSU still doesn't have a QB and is losing several key players, right? Next year's LSU team won't be as talented and experienced as this year's team and this was your best opportunity to beat us. Next year's game could mirror the '13 and '15 games, in '18 you'll likely have a freshman QB, and in '19 the game is back in BDS. The next few years don't look all that great for LSU beating Bama.
