We might. However, while I enjoy Spencer Hall's writing, I disagree with pretty much all of his football opinions.

Notre Dame sold out to stop the run and sent the house over and over, Fromm avoided turnovers and played it safe.

We won, end of story.

Maybe. UGAs defense and run game is good enough to adopt the ND gameplan and win almost every game. Kirby has proven he has no problem with going away from the pro-style run run pass when he needs to, Oklahoma rose bowl go example. Since he was hired at UGA has clearly accomplished more than any other school except Alabama. He delivered an SEC championship, CFP birth, and Rose Bowl victory and another 11-1 season NY6 bowl game appearance. So call me crazy but I trust he knows what he’s doing.

He did better than Chaney did against ND.

Somehow I don't think this guy actually remembers the Schottenheimer regime well. Coley would have to completely fall off the rocker to be half as bad as he was.

Especially when you consider that we never, ever, took advantage of what ND was doing. They abandoned the deep middle all game. All dam game!

Is this just a link to some dork's twitter page, or does he have some sort of credibility?

This. Absolutely brilliant writer and one of my favorite bloggers of all time but not who I go to for an expert analysis of a team. I listen to the Shutdown Fullcast for entertainment value, not validating how worried I should be about my team

Spencer’s ideal football game is something like the WSU-UCLA shitshow from this past weekend. He’s far more concerned with fun football than good football.

I wasn’t a Coley fan myself but I’m willing to see how it goes this year.

Smart basically captured lightning in a bottle one season just like Miles did in 2011 and both lost the rematch game for a NC. Smart then followed that up with an 11-1 regular season but you failed to mention the most important detail which is the 0-2 post season record to finish the year 11-3. Congrats on being the champ of UK, UT, USCe, UF, Vandy and Mizzou. Smart has not shown he can beat the best of the SEC West as indicated by his losses to Auburn and Bama in 2017 followed by LSU and Bama in 2018.
