Ed is going a great job. JMO but his top focus is finding a really good QB from outside the state of Loseranna. That will determine his success. LSU is always talented and has been for 20 years. As a Bama fan I hope they keep signing QB's from within their state. It's documented for you.

As much as he wants.

Watch the LSU vs Clemson or UGA games and tell me who had the better defense. I’ll be here waiting. Tell me who shut down the #2 offense in the peach bowl.

Yea SEC west landscape could be changing a lot too. The years of bama being #1, LSU & Auburn fighting for 2nd, and everyone else hot garbage seem to be ending. Saban may retire within in the next 5 years. The Mississippi schools look to be pesky at worst moving forward from here. Arky is at least trying to be competitive with all these coaching changes, they can eventually hit the nail on the head and make a great hire.

Tell it to everyone in the media and elsewhere who say it's the best in history, not just SEC history. You were probably one of the many on here who said LSU couldn't win a title with their defense. So much for that. They won their playoff games by an average of 52-26.

I think in the SEC west a really good situation is : 9 win floor, 10 to 11 win is normal, win the SEC once every 4 years. Always in the conversation.

Bama fans have been hanging their hats on the LSU defense garbage time performance since before we played this year. Keep going bro.

LSU was 14th in the country in stop rate and 6th in third down defense. Traditional defensive metrics are not as reliable as they once were given the nature of modern college football.

How long did Auburn give Chizik?

LSU wont go 4-8 and winless in the SEC any time soon. Chizik basically forced Auburn to fire him.

What would it take for an OU HC to be fired? You have won the B12 for the past five years. You have appeared in the CFP four times. And have not won once. So...

As far as I'm concerned, I'd give Coach O a lifetime contract. As long as we stay in the top 3-4 in the division, I don't really care. My expectations have been exceeded.

As for having the 9th ranked defense in the SEC, I know you know this but give us the difference in points & yards given up from 1 down to 9. Not a whole lot, right? And which teams, 1-8, beat 7 Top 10 teams & beat teams ranked 1-2-3-4 in the pre-season polls? Kinda makes your stats look irrelevant, right?
