They will still go 7-5

Arkansas could play way better than expected in year one with a new coach. Just absolutely beat everyone’s expectations.

And I still don’t see how we could ever get 6 wins.

Interesting. Lane getting an easier than normal start to his LSU coaching career.

It's a step up from his last year at Ole Miss and having the 14th toughest SOS in the SEC though, so there is that.

Lol...Ole Miss. Are you blind? The out of conference games should matter some as well.

Speaking of OOC games.....the following teams had some balls. These games were scheduled well in advance so don't bag on Fl St being weak.

TX - Ohio State
OU - Michigan
Fla and Bama - Florida St.
LSU - Clemson

Rest of SEC = vs a mid team (or maybe an above average team)

Weak OOC

Auburn vs Lol
Missouri vs Lol

OU hardest

Bama easiest, 3 hard games, 2 are at home for contenders.

I certainly hope not. Screw a ridiculously difficult schedule. It doesn’t do you any good.

This has gotta be the most rigged schedule to make the CFP I've ever seen. Their hardest games are at home, expecting Tennessee and Vandy to be down this season so those won't be that hard on the road.

If LSU's cooking Year 1 with Lane, that should be very difficult to win. If CKD is who I think he is, he'll probably drop a game or two he shouldn't.

Right there with you. This ain’t 2005 anymore doesn’t matter how difficult your scheduled is just win as many games and no reason to schedule anyone with a pulse OOC anymore.

Our schedule is pretty brutal depending on how some of the teams that were good last year play this year. If we win 5 games I’ll be surprised.

How much improvement are you expecting for Miss St regardless of W/L?

Looks like there is finally some athleticism on defense and The QB should be an upgrade over that white QB from last year

Our SOS would definitely be higher if LSU were swapped out with a higher quality opponent, like Ole Miss.

Oh well.

Burn!

Although Auburn hasn’t been much help in SoS either.
