No there is no replacing 1980, Tennessee hasn't won one in a while but they also have fielded terrible teams since Fulmer left, and aTm has never been a tier 1 football program in my lifetime, it'd be akin to picking on Maryland for not winning a football title since the 50s

Well, UGA was really only listed as possible national title contenders on numerous occasions during the Richt era post Dooley. The 2000 team under Donnan had some hype and the 1992 team with Goff had some as well, but nowhere near the 2004 and 2008 Richt teams.

It looks like it is up to Schloss to break that streak. Buzz certainly won't, and I have my doubts about Fisher

Hell of a run - 6 titles in major sports, 6 different schools.
All in the last 6 NCAA seasons when championships were awarded.

The content itself is great, but the line spacing to scale over time puts this post over the top.

Texas 8&4

Where the most recent championship is so old that it's in black and white. With no black.

So does the arrogance come mostly from being Texan or what? A&M’s athletic program is absolute dog shite given the resources they have.

It is one of the greatest commercials of all time, so I'd hope so.

Even I know this commercial and it debuted before I was born.

Honestly, this one is surprising, kudos to Arky fans for staying so committed despite the drought.

You sound like an old-line Georgia fan. Hope for the best but expect the worst. Vince Dooley was the perfect coach for these guys. On his Sunday coaches show one time he was talking about William and Mary, the upcoming opponent, and said with all seriousness, "this is a team that we will be very lucky to beat. They have the best long snapper for punts and field goals I've ever seen."
