BDS is tough, I just don’t think that toughness necessarily comes from how loud the crowd is or the atmosphere the fans create.

Tbf he’s talking about the actual atmosphere.

I agree with him, BDS has a lot of older fans that sit on their hands. Tiger Stadium has 100,000 drunk Cajuns screaming at the top of their lungs. LSU should be #1 imo

Cool seeing Bama ranked ahead of Death Valley.

I wouldn't have Georgia in the Top 10.

I would definitely have Auburn higher.

Shouldn't the team with the best home field advantage have to win more home field games to be considered the best?

No, it doesn't say it's a ranking of best teams. Home field advantage can give any team, of any quality an edge. The size of that edge is the measurement. The size of that edge, however, doesn't always equal the highest win %, because it can only do so much.

In the case of Alabama, that is not an intimidating stadium in the least. It's overrated and the quiet blue hairs ruin the atmosphere. However, you've been the best team/program under Saban so you likely have the highest win %. Very little of that is attributable to your stadium environment.

Texas A&M is 24-20 at Kyle Field against SEC teams since joining the conference.

Georgia certainly would not have been anywhere near the top 10 in such a list 25 years ago. The atmosphere at UGA home games is INFINITELY better now than it was at the beginning of the Mark Richt era. Prior to about 2000 or so it was not uncommon for people to ask those who were making noise to be a little quieter. About half the crowd at even a meaningful game back then couldn't tell you what the down and distance was at any given point in the game. About half couldn't tell you what the score was. It was a social event, It has improved immensely in the last 25 years....to the point that it is probably in the top 10 at times.

It's not about which team is better. It's about which stadium is tougher for the opponent, dumb arse. Plus the last time I checked Ole Miss didn't use cowbells.

Any list that has Tuscaloosa BD stadium over LSU Tiger stadium is not credible , and I'm a Bama fan

That's because Alabama is a good team, not because the atmosphere is so tough.

The stadium doesn't have people stacked on top of each other with steep inclines like others. The fans are further back from the field, etc.

Auburn is much tougher, the student section is stupid loud and they are close to the field. They just don't have teams that are as good.

Small stadium, gameday environment sucks and cowbells should be illegal. If there aren’t 25 atmospheres better than this in cfb there is something fundamentally wrong with the sport

Thats just having the better team. I dont think anyone is intimidated playing in Oxford. I'm not being hateful towards Ole Miss in any way.

You're not wrong; however, that's less quantifiable than, say, home win-loss record.

Any team that has lost to a non power 5 team at home in the last 5 years should not be on the list. I say that as an Arkansas fan. We don't deserve to be there at all. Now if you wanted to make a list that said when everything is going great and you field a great team these are the toughest places to play... Then fine. I don't think that's what they mean though.
