Dylan Moses will be getting paid around $12M after a “loss of value" claim against an insurance carrier.
Nice for the young man. Hopefully he can get healthy

How much did that policy cost?

You're getting that from a twitter post from a guy named Mike?

He is legit. He post stuff all the time and is correct. I think he works in the athletic department or something

This sounds really, really unlikely unless this is a whole new chapter in those policies.
Saban has been on record that Bama doesn't help with Loss of Value policies. Per the attached article, $12 Million is in excess of the max policies offered.
They cost about 10K per million so maybe his dad was ponying up $120K per year for this but maybe not?
Also, insurance companies make it really tough to collect max reward.

Only a handful of players have actually collected on loss-of-value claims.
And the next player to collect more than $3 million from a loss-of-value claim will be the first.
Most don’t come anywhere close to that number.
Players have to prove that the one specific injury is the sole reason they slipped in the draft.
That’s not easy.
“The loss-of-value is very challenging to collect on,” Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne told AL.com.

I am pretty sure Alabama pays for those premiums. Didnt Moses' dad even get in the negotiations to get him back with the LOV policies

I hope He gets it. I read An article about how fricked these claims can be.

That whole article is Greg Byrne and others explaining why they don't pay those premiums and instead offer longer term disability policies.

As noted in the Action Network article, Alabama is among the schools that doesn’t purchase loss-of-value coverage.
It was discussed a lot with Tua as he did not have a policy in place. He ended up getting drafted anyway in the first.
I know Moses's dad did a lot of social media talking but that was well after his knee injury and likely impairment of his draft status. Who knows though.
Also, I can't imagine an insurance company just cutting the check without some sort of internal deliberation. We are just a few days removed from the draft. Nothing moves that fast in the insurance world.

His Highness has collected

So you're confirming this amount is correct and has been actually paid to #32?

Saban should pay him that 12

Yes that was the plan all along. Play your Sr year and be a bust in the Draft.

Let me know when he actually gets that check

1. Play Senior year
2. Show teams you can jump on a pile after the whistle has been blown
3. Consistently finish games with clean jersey
4. Collect insurance claim

Your cow college has had 7 1st round selection since 2007. Not bad.
