OUs two locks are Mizzou and Texas. My guess the 3rd is LSU so you can play that last weekend.

Ags lock is Texas

Not sure on the other two. SEC could do anything.

It would be just LSU's luck after having to play Alabama every year when Saban was there, they get dropped off our schedule just as they sink into the cellar.

Kind of like how the Saints were in the NFC west all those years with Joe Montana and then Steve Young, and as soon as they retired, the Saints get moved.

What are the chances Georgia still doesn’t go to A&M with the new schedule?

I can see OU-LSU to end the season turning into something great. Beats the hell out of trying to revive something with Oklahoma State, another meaningless, lopsided "rivalry" that most OU fans care nothing about.

The idea of Missouri being a lock makes me want to vomit. I hope it's not true. Joining a new conference should include new traditions being born, not putting stale, old ones back on life support.

Hoping for Bama, LSU and Tennessee.

Why would a Missouri fan want three likely losses every season?

Stick with the Sisters of the Poor you usually play so can post about how great Drinkwitz is.

LSU is almost certainly getting Ole Miss and Aggie. Then probably OU or Arkansas for Thanksgiving weekend.

Ole Miss, Arky, Aggy

This is most likely scenario. Arky goes back to Thanksgiving week and Mizzou plays OU that week.

They are now using the term 'annual opponent' instead of 'permanent rival.' These opponents will be reviewed every four years. This suggests we'll be 'stuck' with opponents who are not rivals, but hopefully for a limited duration of no more than four years.

Am I reading Marcello's tweet correctly? The three annual opponents will be reviewed every four years? So it's possible that the three annual teams from 2026-2029 get changed for 2030-2033.

Dude...LSU can't even beat Bama post-Saban.

Realistically it should be Auburn, Tennessee (biggest rivals) and Miss St (closest geographically, most games played).

I know people want that Alabama game in their season ticket packages,
but we can't be everyone's rival...and the series with LSU has been so one-sided...tv ratings is the only positive, but with Saban retired the matchup, while still pretty big, loses something.
