Oh, that's a lesson Sankey is about to learn in court.
And you'll weep and weep and weep.
Because you're a pussy and too stupid to follow the actual facts of the case.

Then have Sankey define what a pro athlete is, reminder he wouldnt/couldnt/didnt do it while under oath in court.
Apply the rules evenly and fairly, its simple.

So, again, why are they the only one being threatened?
LSU is the only team pressing the issue and challenging the league. As far as I know none of the other examples of the NFL washouts returning to college actually received any NFL money like the LSU guys did. Personally I think all of them should be ineligible too, but if we have to use money/contracts to draw the line thats fine. Thats the difference between the LSU guys and the other teams that keep getting brought up.
The conferences know this is a losing battle for the ncaa, they have to be allowed to establish their own arbitrary rules for governing their teams. If miles garrett for example wanted to return to college football and challenged the ncaa, he would eventually win and all eligibility rules would be destroyed. There's no legal black and white reason why former professional players cant return to play college football. Its all arbitrary and thats ok, it needs to be. The conferences need to be able to establish arbitrary rules on who can and cant play.
You can call this a slippery slope argument or whatever but the sec and other conferences know how serious it is and thats why they all took action as soon as the NFL washouts got the idea of returning to college football.

What has LSU pressed? The players pressed this, not LSU.
This is one of the rumors I was referring to, that has zero proof behind it. Claiming LOIC without proof is a pretty tough thing to pass.

You all say the same things.
This was NEVER the delineating line.
It was always about “entering the draft”.
Once that was done, it was over.
Stop trying to change the rules while also arguing to maintain the old rules.

Hutson from Texas got money, per diem, but still was paid for his time. Does that not make him a pro? Texas actually put him on their roster last saturday.Saturday.
ETA: perdiem is around $2000/week
Zxavian Harris received $190.

There’s an old saying… when you make a deal with the devil, you’ll have to pay it back someday.
Congrats LSU. You’re reaping the benefits of your choices and bringing us down to hell with you.

This is why LSU is about to be crippled. There are people at LSU who are stil advocating destroying the SEC in order to get their way.
It is like a 17 year old saying they are going to murder their parents because they told them they can’t use the car this weekend.
You are a sad, strange little man.

He is ineligible according to the NCAA.

Texas rostered a pro, as did USCe and Missouri.

If you lie to the Buffalo Bills saying you are a star 6 foot 9 OL that can run under 5 flat in the 40 and they pay you to tryout does that make you a pro?

LSU is just when the SEC finally decided to fight back.
