Does your football team have a “hump game”?

I can see this thread getting flamed quickly with sex references. But I always view the LSU-Florida game as our “hump game”. As in if we can get through that game undefeated then LSUs season might be special.

If there is a hump game for LSU, it’s Bama and nothing else.
Beat Florida and lose to the tide LSU is still 2nd in the SECw and not playing for anything. Meaningful.

Oddly enough, to me, our hump game may be a non-conference game.
We play Texas on Sept. 11, second game on our schedule.
A win over them would give us an early dose of confidence and set the stage for the conference games.
As far as conference, another* win over Auburn.

I know OP only asked for one but I see it as Bama first then Ole Miss for A&M. Honestly, I could add another one due to breaking in a QB but that would really defeat the purpose of the question here.

It’s not on the schedule but Alabama always feels like our hump to get to the elite. Unfortunately we always blow it

I think it's fair to say that Alabama and LSU are each other's hump game right now.
In the past 10 years or so there have been some epic meetings in that series.
As much as we give each other shite, those are some grown-arse men on that field, on each side.
