Mark Stoops has turned them into a respectable program. Plus it’s on the road. Do not sleep on the cats

Most years, UGA's hump game is Florida, which is the last week of October where the season is already more than half over and you kinda already know what you are.

Occasionally we get a team with a pulse earlier in the season (2021 Clemson, 2013 LSU, random years when USC is decent).

That's to say that most years it's that Florida game that will be the indicator game for the season.

The Alabama game is LSU's hump. Get over that hump, then LSU wins the SEC West.

That ain't no hump. That's the Rocky Mountains.

I usually think it is vs. LSU, but after going back and looking, 2013 (L), 2014 (W), 2017 (L), and 2020 (W) weren't really bellwethers of Auburn's season.

Maybe post-Gus that'll return to normal.

Early in the Bama-Saban era, the "hump" was the annual October offensive slump.

If you're in the West, it's Bama.
If you're in the East, it's UGA.
