I am also interested. I remember wondering in previous years if losing was better for the long term health of the program to get Sumlin Fran or Sherman fired. Of course that was before we landed an elite coach like we have now. How do LSU fans feel about this, provided you could do what we have already done?

Everyone knows elite coaches go 5-6 in their 8th year at a program. Y'all are setting yourselves up as usual.

As for the LSU outlook. People act like this isn't the same issue we've had for over a decade now. This nasty arse defense is good for 8-9 wins. We haven't had anything to be feared on offense since Jamarcus.

Every year matters in Baton Rouge.

Idk how you folks do things elsewhere but EVERY SINGLE season is important around here.

Might be different to Aggie fans who are used to getting their shite pushed in by the respective kings of the conferences they’ve been in.

77-0 Oklahoma over a&m
59-0 Alabama over a&m
7 wins in a row LSU over a&m
Longhorns owning a&m

Long story short, we aren’t used to mediocrity in the Big6 SEC.

They will be bad. 6-6. Maybe 7-6 if they draw a good bowl match

So you’re saying we will still be better than A&M?

You're averaging 8.5 wins per year over the last 4 years. This year will bring that average even lower. Sounds pretty mediocre to me.

13 SEC titles and 3 National Championships says otherwise.

Also beating a&m’s arse 7 years in a row makes us pretty relevant especially in faggieland

This thread is hilarious coming from an Aggie fan. How sad.

Particularly given how salty LSU fans tend to be about Katrina references.

Goodness man. Why would you ever make a Katrina reference? That’s beyond poor taste.

Lost everything including precious beloved pets. Brother and others lost their houses on the coast as well. Others lost lives. I can’t imagine any Katrina joke ever being worth it.

I hope you can be better than that.

My post just seems to have angered everyone, but why is no one actually answering it? Did I hit the nail on the head? Does the truth hurt?

Just dont ask them about how the Saints staff had to come up to Baton Rouge and install the offense !

My LSU friends can sure dish it out, but taking a ribbing...well not so much :(

They'd be a lot better off if it doesn't. They're gonna beg for basketball season to start after about mid October.

What Katrina joke did he make?

LSU is sensitive about it for good reason. He’s just comparing it to the LSU fan making a bonfire reference

Not excited about this year. Think we might be pretty decent next year, but this year feels like the 90's again (and I don't mean 97).
