The name itself would have Arabic roots...but his parents say they named him after a barber shop they saw. They were going to name him Zachary Brandon, but saw the barber shop sign and liked the way it sounded. The Barber Shop actually was spelled Faison's, but they liked spelling it with a Z, instead.
