Last year Texas AM signed 4 out of the top 5 defensive linemen in the country, which is the most bat shite crazy thing that I can ever remember in recruiting.

Figured they'd break up the band with all of the other transfer portal entries. Anyone have any intel on any of these dudes...

We lost all the dudes they replaced. Our two DE’s they replaced have fielded USCe, Penn State, Michigan offers. Pretty cool. But the 22 group is probably staying bc they are starters/back ups. We rotate a lot.

The portal status of the last A&M class has been one of the biggest letdowns in SEC Rant history.

What does it matter. A&M can sign every 5 star in sight and still not qualify for a bowl. Too many problems and no one wants to spend years in Coward Station with the strangest bunch of people found anywhere except for big NiL money being promise. And some still won’t go there no matter how much $ is being offered to join the cult

Well that's unfortunate. I was hoping that Georgia would end up with at least one of them. I don't care what anybody says, if those four linemen stick together, nobody will be able to move the ball against A&M in two years or maybe next. That was the most epic recruiting haul I can eve remember.

They got their arse kicked this year as kids. I hope they remember this year going forward. It’s going to be a fun defense to watch if we can get it together at LB. If you noticed this year, our pass defense/ secondary was a strength. The DL get all the love, but I’m amazed how much we’ve improved playing/recruiting our secondary.

This year was never going to be the year for A&M to compete nationally. It wasn't supposed to be 5-7 bad, but it was never going to be 11+ wins either.

The questions are going to be 1. Can we keep the young guys together long enough for them to become a cohesive, mature team together. And 2. Can we keep enough talented backups around, or find enough in the portal, to keep enough depth to withstand injury attrition.

The 2nd one is probably the bigger question mark IMO.

I hope to goodness we get Tony Grimes. We finished 2nd for him in his recruiting. Great Denver replacement.

Seems like Fisher is signing very high ranked guys with character issues.

He is giving the foaming from the mouth fan base everything they need.

He knows exactly what he's doing. And when new money SEC finally realizes it in 5 more years, Jimbo will be the biggest letdown in the history of Aggy.

Book it.

Any recruit that would sign with the Aggies has issues. Big ones. Mental issues, character issues, lack of good judgment issues.

If you really think that signing the #1 class is automatically going to make you a CFP contender the next season, then you really do not understand football. You you should educate yourself a little bit before making such ignorant statements. That sounds more like something stephen17 would say.

Maybe the Aga should educate themselves. Signing a guy with a shady rep like Dimbo to a HUGE long term contract wasn’t smart. Buying players wasn’t smart. Allow one of your assistants to be caught on video pointing out the luxury boxes to recruits and telling them those people who sit up there will be giving you a lot of money was stupid as hell. Bragging about how money could buy anything and anyone wasn’t smart. Forfeiting games to the likes of Wake was cowardly and stupid. They don’t call y’all Dumb Aggies for nothing.

No dude, you guys are saying over and over freshmen should dominate and be in the playoffs. You guys are that dumb. You are basically saying Kirby would of won a NC with A&M roster as is right now. That’s dumb. You think 18 year old DL guys > than 21 year old 3/4/5 star DL guys. And you guys repeat this everyday and claim to understand football. It’s not even a troll, you guys really think A&M was NC good this year.

I assume you voted for the obscenely obese cheeseburger chugging guy who couldn’t ride a bike if his life depended on it. Bet his golf cart needs extra shocks. That is one ugly orange fat guy. Love that hairdo though . Kind of like a cross between a UT and UF mullet. Classy! Lol

Kirby would have never recruited many of the players Dimbo signed. Georgia has higher standards

All those 4 look very likely to stay. There was smoke around Anthony Lucas, but it seems like he'll stay, too.
