Somehow I'm also obsessed with LSU, Auburn, tu, MSU, and Mizzou too.

SC along with Clemson are also typically top 10 in men's soccer attendance.

It is almost as if they didn't have football, basketball, and baseball when the university was chartered in 1801.

It would have been pretty cool if they put the football stadium up on that hill near campus...or down by the river.

Says the guy from St Louis.

I'd take Cola every day and twice on Sunday over that festering culcha shithole that's St. Louis.

We are talking about college campus! Not downtown St. Louis in some areas. But St. Louis is better than what major pro sports the state of Alabama have!

USCe has a couple of things going for it. Greek “row” is one. It’s not actually a row but a community. And the houses are really nice. The stadium’s similar to other SEC ones, but obviously could not be on-campus, and has a fun game day atmosphere, and very unique railroad cars where fans can tailgate. Unfortunately, it’s in a warehouse district and you don’t get a good feel of college football driving in and out. Once you’re out of your car and partying near the stadium, it’s fine. I have seen better.

I don’t think the situation will change soon, but I assume one day the school/private enterprise will buy the warehouses and build condos, apartments, restaurants, bars, etc. That’s already started to some degree.

It’ll never be Athens or Oxford, etc., but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Sounds like you are living there!

Being the capital doesn't make it a major city. Frankfort, KY is a capital city but it's not a major city.

I may be dumb, but at least I didn't leave my trash can down the driveway for an extra day because I'm lazy. I see you, neighbor.
